You have to be expecting good things from looking at that set list.  That is just out of hand, 6 touring bands!!!  Fuck ya....  This was going to be a long night, and on top of that it started late, I think it started at like 8:00.  Just Short Of Living was up first, I didn't see them when they played in Oxnard.  They are basically just your hardcore band, nothing special, but it gets you moving.  They broke a light bulb during their set, haha.  They gave props out to the NARD during their set... so they have to know what is going on.  Far From Breaking was up next, they were on thyey way back to Texas.  I saw them two times when they were on their way up to Washinghton.  I liked them, when I saw them but I thought their demo was better to listen to  than live.  I guess when they were on tour they had two line-up changes.  Two guys from Just Short Of Living were now in the band, instead of the two guys that they had before.  It didn't really change how they sounded.  They covered a Uniform Choice song at the end of their set.  Next up was Diehard Youth, I think they got one of their best responses that I have ever seen that night.  They ruled, everyon seemed really stoked.  Everybody was circle pitting, singing-along, and moshing.  I was stoked!!!  Next up was Faded Grey, and I was really stoked because it had been a while since I had seen them.  Their music is amazing, amd inspiring at that.  They started out with their best song: and one of the best hardcore songs I think, "The Great Divide."  That song is so good....  it has a super breakdown, a good eom part, a good sing-along.  It has all the components of a good song.  They got an AMAZING response.  I think there was about 50 people circle pitting, and everyone was moshing, it ruled.  Then they went into "emo solution."  Faded Grey by far got the best response that night.  I can't wait to see them again.  Up next was Time Flies, from Virginia.  I got their latest CD that their two 7"s on one CD.  I think they are really good.  Time Flies is your basic youth crew straight edge band.  They played most of their songs form their first CD.  Then they played "High Fives and Stagedives".  That song is rad!!  Next up was fellow Virginia mates Count Me Out.  They played about a year ago in Ojai, and they got a really good response.  I think there was more people there at the show the year before.  Anyways, they didn't get a good response at all.  There was only like a few people singing-along and a couple people moshing.  I was kinda like huh, I thought they would have got a better response because they have already played in front of these people, but they didn't so.  Good Clean Fun was up next, I had seen them two days before.  They basically played all the same songs.  But during their last song Mke Phyte the bass player for GCF swung his guitar around and hit the guitar player.  And I got it on tape.  It looked like hurt, but.
