Last time DBS came to Ojai they didn't play because they drummer got sick or something.  So I was kind of looking forward to seeing them, because they are getting so so big.  Besides that It was a great chance to see KYI, if you missed them the last time they came around, like me.  So I was stoked on the show as a whole.  I had a hunch that this show would be the most packed show ever at the Ojai Womens Club.  I suppose I was correct but there wasn't as many people as I thought.  But anyways, enough of me going on.  Holier Than Thou was up first, they had played a while back in Ojai, they were okay.  Their singer was really crazy and he was going everywhere, it was rad.  This time I'm not sure but I think it was a different singer, and if I am correct, their new singer wasn't half as mobil.  So I kinda got bored watching them.  Also, the singer announced that they had a "no moshing rule" .  Thats cool, if that is their thing but I think it is kind of lame.... huh.  Beavis circle pitted for every song, that kid is fucking unbelievable.  He is like a fucking robot or something.  So Stop and Think was up next.  They are from Boston Mass.  so you have to be thinking good things....  So they aren't really on a tour persay, they just flew over for 3 shows, and I think 5 days.  They played five songs I think and one cover.  The songs that they played was average mosh hardcore stuff, with the xedgex.  Nothing spectacular, but I bought their demo and it is way better on tape then live I think.  Good stuff if you are into ten yard fight and in my eyes you should like them.  Up next was Whatever It Takes.  They played exceptionally well that night.  I mean they were amazing, I think they got a good response nothing amazing, but they just sounded...... tight! Whatever It Takes played two new songs if I remember correctly, and they were really good.  So be expecting good things in the future from them.  Next up was Carry On .  They played all of the normal ones, and a new one.  The new song is good so I guess their new members are doing fine.  Anyways, they got a good moshing reaction.  Lifes Halt was up next, and man was I stoked.  It had been a while since I had seen them so........  Anyways, I was going to video tape but something happened and I only got like four songs it sucked.  But, Lifes Halt was amazing!!  And they had a lot of good stuff to say.  "Ya they told me how to live my life, and stuff".  Haha, I am just kidding.  I think the crowd was stoked to see them, because everyone ws giving it up.  Up next was Kill Your Idols, I was really excited because laast time they came down and I missed them so I was going to get my moneys worth.  They didn't get the reaction I would have expected or the reaction that I would have hoped they would have recieved.  But I was stoked, and some other people were so.....  The nard busted out a half-ass attempt at a "wall of death".  Ha that was weak, anyways good idea.  So Death By Stereo was up next!!!  Ohh man was I excited.  I think DBS played all the good ones.........  wait a minute that would be every song haha.  I think Efrem[spelling] passed the mic out to every single person inside the room, even if you weren't singing along.  Everybody was having a good time cicle pitting, moshing, stagediving, and singing along.  It was great, I think DBS got the best response I have ever seen at the Ojai Womens Club.  It ruled I had a great time, and i think everyone else did to.
