The Australian Pig Hunting Photo Rave Page 2
Have a look at some of these fantastic action shots of hunting dogs in action against feral boar pigs.

Hi my name is Paula,
Here are some of the boars which my mate Kane and I caught in Injune.
The first two were caught by Kane's dog (Bull Mastiff x) on his own.
The first is an 80kg boar which ripped Major (the dog) pretty bad.
Major jumped off the ute and caught him about 200m from the road.
The second is a 95kg boar which we caught after running about 1.5km
through thick pine and braglow suckers.
The third is a 105kg boar. It was caught at the same place as the
second boar, only about a 500m apart. (but on different nights)It
had the best set of tusks we'd ever seen - about 4 inches. We had
another bloke with us that night so the extra dog helped. He boxed
the pig in Roma.

I collected the tusks from this boar to use as a trophy
for the local primary school children.

You can really appreciate the size (same as from the
photo above) of this boar when it is hung at home ready for cleaning
and dressing.
