bruce, my name is shane henshall and i am a professional hunter. here are some photo`s of outback QLD hungerford and the channel country. hungerford area has a lot of pigs, however they aren`t very big hogs but sport great ivory and are great fun to catch with smaller dogs. the channel country however has good size pigs and are use to fighting off dingos. i lost 6 dogs in eight months at one stage, mainly young dogs but, a couple of old fav`s, anyway hope you enjoy...

conan on a 100kg boar by himself.

conan`s last big boar before he died. 76kg and he was skin & bone he was a very old pig. it`s teeth were competely flat and they were falling out. estimate weight fat : 100kg

These are a few pictures from a recent hoghunt in south Louisiana. The hunt took place Aug. 6, 2000. On the hunt was Sen. Sixty B.B. Rayburn, Mike Cauley, Todd Dempster, and me. The boar weighed around 225#s. None of the dogs were hurt very bad. After we took a few pictures, we released the boar. The boar didn't waste any time hanging around, he just left out of there like a rocket. This was really a great hunt........ Sixty gets around pretty good for 80 yr.s ----- I hope we all can then !!!!!!!
