g`day mate i saw this pig rubbing on a fence post at about 800 yards
one midday . going like a cut cat i ran through short lignum to him but
he beat me.his tracks were huge. two weeks later my mate bill and i slipped
our dogs out roughly in the same area. zac put his head down and led out
on what turned out to be him.the dogs handled him well with no damage
to them. this pig had been nutted and weighed over the 400 lbs mark.every
one in the area had tried for years to get him and he had all sorts of
shot under the skin.dog in photo is zulu 14 mths and is abull greyhound
staghound fast enough to blow wind up a roos arse good nose and tenacity
and never give up no matter, this dog was killed by a big old boar in
heavy blackberrys 2 years later. i am into sambar deer now and could handle
a swap hunt. any takers? you have a good site fellas.
