This is a good Russian hog that we took a client on a hunt & he harvested it with a 357 handgun. He was tickled pink with it. It weighed about 275# but only had about 2" tusks.

You have a great site. Hog hunting here in the southern states is our national pastime. This is a boar I caught by myself one day. I had to go get help to load him. He was about# with 3" plus ivory. He is a Russian hybrid & a friend of mine has him in a pen that he uses for baying contest.

the first is of my mate scott with a 73kg boar we caught one afternoon in december 2000 in a patch of heaven trees

myself with a good boar that weighed 105kgs he was caught after scotts bull-arab and my bull-arab/greyhound chased him into a thick gully , but they are only young and they couldn,t hold him so we let scotts pitbull/bully/staffy into him and he was soon finished.

82kg boar that we caught after work one arvo , he ripped my bitch pretty badly under her neck but she was ok after a trip to the vet.

we didnt weigh him but i guess he was around 80-85kgs.
