Buffy Summers was crying. Who would have
thought that she, the slayer was having an
intense emotional time. Why her? Damn him.
No, it was not her fault. There was always
that fact that they could never be together
emotionally. Life sucked at times. That was
when he had come in. She really did not want
anyone to see her.
"Buffy, are you okay?" Oz asked. He was
concerned for Buffy. Ever since him and
Willow broke up, he hated to see anybody
cry. He knew the pain of having a busted
relationship.
"Do I look okay, Oz?" Buffy said snapping
at him. She instantly regretted the moment
that she had done that.
"Buffy, what's wrong?" Oz asked her. He knew
that Buffy never snapped unless something was
bothering her.
"Angel, he broke up with me, Oz. We were
suppose to..." Buffy said half-heartedly,
before Oz cut her off.
"I know go to the prom together. Me and
Willow were supposed to go. Trust me, it
stinks to be the dumpee." Oz said oddly
finding it comforting for some weird reason
"Trust me, Oz. I know the feeling. Looks like
we both don't have dates for the prom." Buffy
said feeling sad and upset.
"Hey, Buffy. Maybe we could go to the prom
together. That would be cool. Everyone there
will find it the most schocking thing." Oz
said. He rather much spend his prom would
someone who was a freind.
"I love to go to the prom with you, Oz."
Buffy said. She always had wanted to get to
know Oz a little better.
"Then, I'll see you at the prom Buffy." Oz
said happy that him and Buffy would spend
time together. He wanted to get to know her
better. This was the perfect chance.

"Oz, why are you not in the gym, with the
others?" Buffy asked.
She was wearing her prom dress. Plus fighting
hellhounds could exhaust any body.
"Your my date Buffy for tonight. We shouldn't
go seperately to the prom." Oz said. He knew
Willow and Xander were going to the prom
together. Besides, Buffy look damn good in
her dress.
"Well at least there will be no hellhounds."
Buffy said with relief. She just wanted to
enjoy this night.
When they entered the gym, it seemed like
that everybody had turned around and looked
at them.
"Do you want to dance?" Oz asked her. He so
wanted to dance with Buffy. Plus, he was a
pretty good dancer.
"I'd love to, Oz." Buffy said. She so wanted
to dance with anybody, but Angel. Instead,
she was a dancing with someone else who also....
When they got on the dance floor, they found
themselves strangely attracted to one another.
"Willow, do you see what I see?" Xander asked
Willow, his prom date. He couldn't believe
that Buffy and Oz were each other's dates for
the problem.
"Oh my..." came Willow's response. She almost
turned a pale shade of white. She would have
never thought...
"Do you still have feelings for him, Willow?"
Xander asked. He wanted to know. Didn't he
have a right. He wanted this relationship to
work. Not one of his relationships had ever
worked out.
"No, of course, not Xander. I just...listen,
you are all that matters to me. Besides, I
have always loved you Alexander Harris."
Willow said. She was happy that both
Buffy and Oz, were moving on with their lives.
She was glad that they were finding happiness,
even if it was with one another.
Then Buffy and Oz were dancing, when Oz gave
Buffy a kiss. Oz always wanted to do something
that was impulsive. Well kissing Buffy was
an impulsive move on his part to say the
least.
Buffy actually liked the kiss. She was not
suppose to enjoy the kiss. Oz was... well
actually, just shut up and enjoy the moment,
Buffy thought to herself. They stop and
smiled at one another.
"Oz, what does this mean?" Buffy said unsure
of how she felt about this situation or where
they were going.
"A new beginning, Buffy. Both of us need that.
Why not?" Oz said smiling at Buffy. Maybe him
and Buffy were meant for one another.
"I was thinking we could do it together."
Buffy said. She needed a normal boyfriend.
Oz was not normal, but as close as one
could get on the hellmouth.
Oz and Buffy then kissed one another for the
rest of the night.
The End.
