Deep beneath the bowels of Richard's
ranch the future mayor of
Sunnydale and his trusted assistant
cleaned up the slim caused by the
Abhorreo demon.
"So, Martin, you are sure that the
young man also has some kind of
super natural powers?" The
future Mayor asked again, not believing
his undeniable luck. He
shook his head thinking of the possibilities.
The man shivered a when he remembered
the fierce hate in the boy's
eyes as Oz had...shifted.
"Yes sir. He nearly changed
into a demon in front of me." The
servant answered as he started
to white wash the stained walls of the
cellar. " And I know he
has an affection for the girl he's not
admitting too."
"Well that's just too good to be
true!" Wilkins laughed, rubbing his
hands together. "A Slayer
bonded to a demon! Who would of thought
it? No wonder the spell
brought them both here."
"What do you mean, sir?" Martin's
face started to turn red...then
white as his ire got the better
of him. "You wanted a Slayer to come
here, but it's so soon in your
plans! I thought we would wait on the
spell for a bit?"
Richard noticed Martin's control
slipping over his human features as
he started to turn into the Gelo
demon from his mother's side. Once
more he squashed the slight chill
of fear that settled in his belly.
Martin was easy to control, but
his power let loose was a sight to
behold.
"Martin, watch it, you'll freeze
the white wash again and then we
would have to put off the ritual
for another month!" The future
mayor wondered again how in the
world an Ice demon was ever able to
mate with a a human. It
couldn't have been enjoyable for all parties
involved.
Getting himself and his features
under control, Martin asked. "Sorry,
but I ask again, why a Slayer?
They are so hard to control and so
unpredictable-why not just use
some of the human population?" Martin
continued to push, and one thing
Richard hated, was bad manners.
He sighed; good help was just too
hard to find in this backwoods
rustic place so he couldn't just
fry the idiot. "I wanted a slayer
because of the mystical power.
They are one of the most powerful
beings fully on this earth-used
with the correct ritual the energy
from her death will finally blow
the cap that those pesky Indians put
on the 'Hellmouth'." He
just couldn't contain his glee! "It won't
open the vortex, but it will allow
a slow leak of dark mystical
energy to began. It will
also, start my journey to my ultimate
destiny."
Richard was lost in the moment
of wondering what the world would look
like in a hundred years-of what
improvements and order he could bring
to it.
"But, for the you to be able to
harness all of the slayer's energy
you must have her healthy.
There is no cure for the slim of the
Abhorreo demon, by the end of
the full moon she will be dead."
Martin reasoned.
"Ah, but there is a cure, my friend,"
Richard added. "The heart's
blood from the demon will cure
her, but it will also cause her to go
into a deep unwakable sleep for
three days."
"And with the coming of the new
moon you will perform your ritual!"
Martin finished.
"Yes," Richard crowed. "All
we have to do is make sure Miss Buffy
drinks all her wine tonight at
dinner. I mean, it will be so much
easier if we don't have to force
the cure down her throat when she's
too sick to struggle."
