A2 code 325 and ECU testing

code 325 on A2 socket means memory fail, so what is the fix ??? [850][1994turbo] ... posted by Mrsha  on Wednesday, 14 February 2001, at 1:54 p.m.

code 325 is memory fail.. so what does this mean - bad ECU ??
or just a bad bug in the system ??
just clear it out and hope it will not come back ???

in short what is the fix ???
or to solve the problem ..

Thank

If you truly have a memory failure in the ECU then the only repair is to replace
the ECU, before spending the money, clear all the codes and then see if you can
set a code, like start your car and then unplug the Mass air flow sensor, just to
see if the ECU will store the 121 code like it should. If the code is stored then
I'd clear it and hope that your 325 was just a glitch, if it won't store the 121 for
the MAF then consider getting a new ECU, Might be a good time to up grade to
one of the performance ECUs.
