Hi Nick, If your 240 injection system is a LH like it is in Australia,
it is probably not getting the initial fuel enrichment on startup.
It can sometimes be a sensor in the cooling system that tells the
injection system about engine temperature. Some systems use an additional
injector -called a cold start injector- you might want to check this is
operational. Also idle motors can gum up & not react fast enough to
fluctuations in idle speed- - rip the idle motor out & give it a good
spray with carby cleaner.
