I am in search of informed opinions on how to improve the starting characteristic of my volvo '95 850 Turbo with 70,000 miles. The car starts each time.
There is an additional 1-3 seconds of hestitation prior to starting. The areas I am looking at are, in order of suspect:
a.
b. fuel filter (may be original, might be a bti clogged)
c. starter (not sure what to check or know here)
d. spark plugs (about 10,000 miles currently, are gold level champions)
e. fuel injectors (?)
f air filter (fairly new, standard paper type)
I would like it to start like my other volvo 850, almost immediately after turning the key.

Sunil,
Not sure what was intended to be in item a. but I'd suggest the
battery is a reasonable candidate. At 85,000 mine went out. After replacing
it the start was
instantaneous.

If your cap and rotor have not been replaced, I would try that
first. At 70K miles, you have had your Timing Belt replaced????? Try using
the plugs Volvo
recommends for your vechicle.
