Glenn co-starred in The Castanet Club in 1982 and appeared as the charismatic lead singer and frontperson, Lance Norton. The band played live in every state of Australia and overseas, including the Edinburgh Festival.
Glenn starred in the band's feature length film, The Castanet Club ... A Movie You Can Dance To, and is well known as Darren Purvis (son of Shirley) from The Big Gig. Glenn's other television credits include A Country Practice, The Money or The Gun and Fast Forward.
In 1991 Glenn co-directed and starred in Stephen Abbott's The Headbutt for Belvoir Street Theatre. Glenn also worked as Musical Director and Composer in another of Stephen Abbott's plays, The Coast Mongrels, at the Hunter Valley Theatre Company in 1992.
From 1992-1997 Glenn was a regular cast member on the highly successful television comedy series Full Frontal for the Seven Network, which won four Logies during that time.
Glenn played the role of Brad Majors in Nigel Triffitt's production of The New Rocky Horror Show in 1992, a role he revived in 1996 and again in 1998.
Glenn also appeared as Buddy in the sell-out concert version of Sondheim's Follies at the Sydney Opera House and is a regular presenter on ABC's Playschool.
