" Disappointed "
with the Top End

Sorry fellas but i feel nows the time to clear my chest as to a matter or two, in the past few months i have asked of the "association" some assistance with certain items of information photo's and course details and so far no responce, it appears that we may be waiting an awful long time if ever in getting the items needed.
If you consider that maybe the POM is a little slow then, stop for a moment the POM doesn't run the association but relys on the boys from up north (read as the association) for assistance.
Thanks for your patience fellas we might still get the photo of 3/99 and some course names for 14 course, if you like you may give the boys from the association a ring and voice your concerns this after all is an Association not a one man band. I have personally set up this site for all regardless of the association and it is open to all ADGies, members or not, hopefully to reunite as many as possible all you need to be part of this site is to be an ADGie Past or Present.
On the subject of Present ADGies or Defenders we would like to see a better representation on site of you fellas feel free to participate as this is your site as well and rest assured that the POM would love to have you in the gunpit so to speak.

Re. the ADG nominal roll at Vung Tau. Listed serving as an ADG in 1968-1969 is Cliff Phillips . Cliff was a cook at Vung Tau in '68-69. His brother Geoff Phillips, service number A118195, served at Vung Tau as a ADG in 1970 -1971. Would you please amend your records asap, and keep up the good work.

The Comardrie is still there

Thank's Carl Christoffenson

Thanks Carlo your phone call this afternoon is well appreciated thanking me for my efforts BUT as you well know without the fellas supporting this site it would be nothing, so on my behalf i would like to thank everyone for your support and kind words to that effect.
The real plus to all this is the rekindled friendships generated, after laying dormant for so long and knowing that this site has in some way or other got the boys talking again, It blows me away when fellas i haven't spoken to for 30 years or more are picking up the phone and saying gday.
Thanks Guys.
