Sorry to bother you again, but I neglected to advise you that Don Scott, Mick Hayes and John Walters were all door gunners as well. Can you please add them to the list. Hopefully this will be the last. Just trying to ensure that everything on the site is AOK. Once again, you are doing a brilliant job on the web site. Because of this site, I have been making contact with mates I haven't spoken to, or hear from, in years. Keep up the great work.
Regards

Hi mate
I have been in touch with a couple of mates and told them about the web page. They are also keen to have their details included. Can you please update them, they are:
Noel (Tex) Knudsen
Served at Nui Dat for 1 month at The Horseshoe
Eric (Jock) Massie
Served at Nui Dat for 1 month
Tony Cooper (Deceased)
Served at Nui Dat for 1 month at the Horeshoe
Donald Scott
9 Sqdn

Ken (Buck) Rodgers

Richard (Kruger) Long
Served at Nui Dat for 1 month at the Horeshoe
Desmond (Silky) Smyth
35 Sqdn
Served at Nui Dat for 1 month
Milton (Gabby) Hayes
9 Sqdn
Served at Nui Dat for 1 month
Rodney (Pussy) Wharton
Served at Nui Dat for 1 month
Following are the names of those from 1 Course who went to Thailand first then on to Vung Tau. Unsure of their movements in Nam.
Brian (Droopy) Druwitt
Terry (Tangles) Collis
George Edwards (Deceased)
John (Tassie) Walters - 9 Sqdn
Mate, just one thing, to my knowledge, the Nam service dates for No.1 Course should be September 1966 - September 1967. (From the web page it would appear that Bob Goad spent 12 years there, could explain a lot of odd things about him! - just joking). All of No.1 Course were delayed in returning home for some obscure reason, so we actually served slightly more than the 12 months.
We have just bought a new scanner as our old one is not compatible with our new computer that runs XP and as soon as it arrives (by courier this week) I will email to you the Course photograph. If you are interested, I can also send to you some other photographs taken in Nam and Australia before our o/s posting. Also have photographs taken at last year's Anzac Day in Brisbane if you are interested.
Regards
Bruce (Scobie) Loseby.

Re: Pictures
Hi Bob I picked up the prints of the slides today, all I got to do is to figure out how to load them onto the net. I have about twenty of so that I think that might be of interest. Some are in black and white. It is amazing that after all these years the colour in the slides is still as good as ever.
Thanks for your address. After I have thrown this contraption in the rubbish I will probabley send the snaps.
What course did you go through at Amberley. I was on 5 course.
Brenda and I am planning to come up to the reunion in April of next year and then keep going up to the top end. I have contacted Carl Christoffersen and have his address and a few others and it would be nice to catch up with all the OLD boys after this time. Well be a little bit patient and I will see how I go.
Best Wishes Russ Abbey
P.S. please send down the address(Email) of the secretary of the ADG asspc. I would like to join up.

Hi mate
Just me again. Found the email contact page. Can you please add my address - bandkloseby@iprimus.com.au
Also tried to send an email to Carl Christoffersen. The email message came back as an unknown address. Looks at though he has changed it.
Regards
Bruce Loseby
Well fellas occassionally you might get back your email as Jim Cable experianced lately saying that my email box is full well things a getting pretty hectic with email traffic for not only our news page but as regards the upcoming reunion in 2004, but hang in there fellas and keep trying as i empty my email box at least 3 times a day and it's 7 mb's in size.
I asked Bigpond for a larger email box but they said no way.
Keep on trying
The Pom.
Dear Bob I have dug out some snaps that I took when we were out on patrol as well as somne of the Snoopy that we liberated from the yank AP,s. Would you like me to send them down the line to you. I will put the names of the guys and the dates taken at the bottoms of each. I have a new scanner so it might take me a while to figure out the process.
Hope that these might be of interest
Russ (Hank) Abbey
Thanks for your offer Russ we would love to see them plus if you have a current snap of yourself then i'm sure the boys would like to see the current disquise.

Bob Goad was definitely an Adgie and is currently a Police senior sergeant in the Toowoomba area. I don’t know John Downs at all and the name doesn’t ring any bells.
Thanks for updating Bruce Loseby’s details, he seemed to be a bit put out about it, but I’m glad you were able to fix it for him.
By the way, I tried to send that message to you three times before it finally got through – it kept bouncing back saying that your mailbox was full or something.
We’ve got a Committee meeting in the next day or so but I’ve already run the Newcastle Reunion proposal past everyone by phone, and they are all fully in favour, so we’ll get things moving from our end very soon.
Regards
Jim
