The Electronic Blue Beret.....2002

The POM catches a Virus

Well fellas last week proved to be pretty hectic with a lot of info starting to surface from our southern correspondant Stumpy Triffitt and i look foward to hearing and recieving more from the rest of the gang in the near future. Remember if you offered to do a story or a report for the site then it would be nice to see it turn up i'm sure the boys would like both to read and see it...THE SECOND THING THAT SHOOK ME TO MY NUTS WAS A VIRUS CALLED W32 GONER it interferres with your email scanning of incoming emails and needs a removal tool, but don't panic its now gone and the POM'S had his shot of penicillian and everything is now back in a heathy state.
Please fellas if you are forwarding emails please please don't bury them making me have to click on multiple boxes as in the future i'll just bloody ignore them with a quick delete to the recycle bin sorry fellas buts that's the way its going to happen.
Regards the POM.

Worth a read

I served with MACVSOG-CCN and with two A detachments, A-253 (Duc-Co) and A-426[433] My-an in Vietnam between 1966-70.

Currently I have a new tradeback novel published titled, "Eagles Cry Blood." It can be found at www.amazon.com under books and my name--Zlotnik.

The famous author, Robin Moore ("The Green Berets" and "The French Connection") has endorsed the novel calling it "A Vietnam Classic."

The novel is a labor of love and if you like it--I'd greatly appreciate you spreading the word about it to kindred spirits.

Thanks;

Donald E. Zlotnik

. Khai Jingo's Web Site .

POM,

Thank christ you are ok and that virus never made you bedridden for any
time. I kept going to the site and it hadn't changed. I thought the POM
might have had a heart attack, or hit by a bus, or drowned in a cup of tea,
or choked on a stale biscuit, but then no George the 3rd ate all them. Great
to see all is well. I didn't know what I was going to do without my daily
fix of the site, nearly headed to the medicine cabinet for something to calm
the nerves.

Saying Goodbye

As the last of Indonesia's military prepared to leave East Timor for the final time two men from opposite sides of the fence found time to say a dignified farewell to each other. The RAAF's Amberley based 2nd Airfield Defence Squadron has been providing security at Komoro Airport, near Dili, alongside the Indonesian Armed Forces equivalent, Korpaskhas, TNI AU.
