G,dayPom, I thought you and your viewers might be interested in some piccies of the rememberance ceremony held at El alamein outside of Port Augusta last week (26 nov). This ceremony was held simultaneously with the one at RAAF. Amberley. The occasion was to mark the 25th anniversary of the crash and subsequent deaths of the Co 9 sqn Peter Mahood and his crew on the 23rd Nov 1978 whilst engaged in night operations supporting 3rd battalion RAR.
