Originally from the pacific islands of Aotearoa (New Zealand), King Haka has burst onto the Australian wrestling scene with impact. Making his first Australian appearance as the bodyguard of Steve Frost at Essendon October 1999, Haka soon became a crowd favourite featuring in the main event on the following card.
Haka made his way up the ranks performing for various promotions but made history with a small promotion in glenwaverly with a feud between himself and the Warhawk. The two men had some furious hardcore battles over a period of 5 months ending with a cage match where Haka was pushed from the top of the cage plunging 15 feet through a table and straight to the concrete.
Probably one of the most agile and agressive wrestlers on the Australian circuit Haka is still young and has great potential.
