They occupied these premises for 100 years, the business quickly grew and also had premises in Pitt St Sydney.
The company today is still run by the Danks family and is trading in many hardware products.
They became involved in Windmills about the 1890s:
Agents for James Alston & Sons in 1890s;
From 1892 to 1915 sold the "Steel Star" windmill made by Flint & Walling - Indiana, USA.;
The "Coo-ee" Mill (Identical to the Aermotor 602) sold between 1933 to 1946.
1912 began the manufacture of their own 'Billabong " mill.
they also made the "Little Bill" mill and the "Busy B" mills
