Blue & Gold Banquet

February 2002

Cub Scouts Pack 877

The "Birthday" of the Boy Scouts is celebrated each year at a function called the Blue & Gold Banquet.  This year, an Italian dinner was catered for the Pack.  Also, we had the Color Guard from Luke Air Force Base perform the flag ceremony.  Dens had prepared center-pieces and other decorations for their tables, and we conducted ceremonies appropriate for the occasion.  Additionally, awards and recognition were presented as in any Pack meeting.  Below are some pictures from the event.

Here, the buffet table is being set-up for our dinner.

During awards and recognition, the Wolves received their progress beads for completing at least half of the Wolf Trail.  Also, the Wolves won the Pack contest for "Best Pack Cheer"...
