Part II
    Usagi tried to catch her breath, "Hurry Usagi! We’re going to be late!" that simple phrase triggered all Usagi’s ‘Late gotta run!’ nerves.  She now grasped Akane’s wrist and dragged her along her behind. Amazingly Furikan High was in the same location as Juuban high, so, taking her usual routine of shortcuts they were there in a matter of minutes. As they slid into their seats, Hinako Sensei entered.
    "Good morning class." she chirped.
    Usagi stared, the Sensei couldn’t be more than fourteen, then her extra senses kicked in. Energy Vampire. Translated? Youma. Usagi tensed and prepared to transformed, "Don’t worry about the Sensei, she’s mostly harmless, but if she gets mad she’ll drain the chi right out of you.", Akane whispered. Usagi nodded, Rouge Youma, they tried to live a normal life, but tended to drain you if you spooked them. Usagi relaxed.
    Ramna ran into the room, "Ramna, you're late." Hinako Sensei said acidly.
    Ramna sweat dropped. "Well I..."
    "No excuses delinquent! I shall drain your Chi to teach you a lesson!" Hinako Sensei whipped out a coin. Threads of light came to engulf Ramna, Usagi swore, she recognized her, it was Sculker, the Cardian Ann and Alan had assigned to drain the energy of babies! She clasped her locket and drew on the power of the Ginzuishou, an impenetrable shield around Ramna. Hinako Sensei cursed. Usagi bit her lip and risked drawing further and sent a healing wave towards the Hinako Sensei, Hinako Sensei crumpled.
    "What happened? Someone call the nurse"
    Usagi slumped a little as well. Using the Ginzuishou had taken a bit out of her, I hope they cancel class. She thought.

    Akane and Usagi sat in the window and watched the medics carry the Sensei away. Usagi knew she’d be OK, but not until long. She’d be back to sucking Chi after a while, but for now she could go without. Akane tapped her shoulder, "Usagi? You OK? Did Hinako Sensei get you too?"
    Usagi nodded, "a little, I’ll be fine."
    Akane grinned, "Well, we’ll get plenty of chance to rest, the rest of today’s classes have been canceled!" she chirped.
    Usagi sighed, "For once I get a good break." she muttered.
    Akane turned, "What did you say?"
    Usagi sweat dropped, "Oh nothing!".

    It was getting dark, Usagi shivered, "Akane ? Are you sure we should be taking this short cut?" she asked.
    Akane bit her lip, "Well I was. Now I’m not so sure."
    "Well hello there!", a voice sounded from behind them.
    Usagi and Akane spun, "Who’s there?", Akane demanded. "Oh Nobody.",
    Usagi tensed up. "Show yourself!" she demanded. A man stepped into the meager light.
    Akane sighed in relief, "Kuno! You scared us! What are you doing out here?" As her eyes adjusted Usagi found a startlingly handsome boy about their age. HE had eyes only for Akane.
    "I was about to ask you the same.", he kissed her hand. "May I escort you to your dwelling?"
    Akane blushed, "Why not? Oh! Kuno, I’d like you to meet Usagi! She’s a friend of mine."
    For the first time Kuno looked Usagi in the face. She smiled and bowed a little. She found her hand captured in his, "My lady! Your beauty is stunning!",
    Usagi yelped. "Uh… That’s nice. Shall we go?"
    Kuno took her arm in his elbow and Akane’s in his other. "I am most fortunate tonight! In the company of such loveliness!"
    They continued down several streets in the same fashion until, "Hello Kuno."
    Akane looked, "Hello Ramna." she said.
    Kuno got a weird look in his eyes, "I shall not allow you to bewitch more ladies! Especially this new blossom gracing our humble school!" Usagi had a vague idea that he meant her. Suddenly a growl shook the street, which was deserted, except for a few bodies scattered here and there.
    Usagi’s senses went wild. Kuno, Ramna, and Akane were embroiled in a fight and were not aware to their surroundings. She saw a youma approaching. "Great!", she muttered, she stole off into the alley. "Moon Crystal Power!", Sailor Moon watched the youma approach..
    Akane was the first to notice her absence, "Where’s Usagi?"
    "Never mind her! We’ve got trouble!" Akane looked, a huge slithering monster was approaching.
    "Puny humans! Your Chi is mine!" it hissed.
    Kuno brought out his blade and Ramna took up position. Akane pulled out a mallet. "Hold it right there slime ball!"
    The huge snake turned, "Who are you?"
    A shaded figure leapt down, she revealed herself to have long blonde hair in a hairstyle that seemed strangely familiar.
        "I am Sailor Moon!
        The Champion of Justice!
        On behalf of the Moon,
        I will right wrongs and Triumph
        over evils. And that means you!
        I’d make a get away while you can ,
        cause you won’t get another chance!"  Sailor moon growled, not unlike a cat.
    The Youma scoffed, "Really? I’ll give you a free shot! Take your best hit!" the youma watched her.
    She shrugged, "OK. Moon Scepter Elimination!" The blast disintegrated the youma.  "That’s what you get! Hey guys! Don’t worry! If you ever need help, I’ll be there if I can!" she leapt away.
    Usagi emerged from the alley. "Usagi! Where were you! You won’t believe what just happened!", Akane cried.
    "My lady are you alright? When you disappeared like that, it gave me a start!" Kuno cried.
    Usagi sweat dropped, "I dropped something and I went to get it."
    Ramna grinned, "She was so totally cool! Wow! If there were more girls like her…", Whack! Akane’s mallet connected with Ramna’s head.

    Usagi and Kuno managed to drag Ramna into the Dojo. "Why are you helping me? I thought you hated Ramna." Usagi panted as they lay his prone form on his futon.
    Kuno wiped the sweat from his brow, "two reasons, I didn’t want you two young ladies to do this alone. Two, if any one kills Ramna Soatome, I want it to be me.". He said seriously.
    Usagi sighed, "Why are you so angry with him?"
    Kuno leaned back. "Well, there is this girl. I like her a lot, but this Devil has bewitched her with some spell and she is unable to reciprocate my feelings."
    Usagi nodded. "OK, what does she look like?"
    Kuno got a dreamy look on his face. "Flaming red hair, a body to die for, blue eye, she wears her hair in a pigtail like Soatome, probably part of the curse.."
    Usagi waved her hands in front of his eyes. "Hold every thing! That sounds like Ramna in his cursed form!"
    Kuno lifted an eye brow. "Say what?"
    Usagi sighed, "Ramna has a curse, when he is splashed with cold water he becomes a red headed and female version of himself." she explained.
    Kuno got a very strange look on his face, "Could it be? Could the pigtailed goddess of my dreams, be in fact, my mortal enemy?"
    Usagi shrugged, "Let’s see, I’ll get some cold water." She left and returned with a glassful. "I have a similar curse myself." she added.
    "Really? What do you turn into?"
    Usagi blushed, "I’d rather not talk about it."
    Kuno nodded, "Then we shall not. Please, commence."
    Usagi handed the glass to Kuno, "I wouldn’t want to activate my curse."
    Kuno nodded in understanding. He dipped his fingers into the glass and flicked them at Ramna’s face, the effect was instantaneous, Ramna was replaced by a red head. Kuno gasped, "my love! IS Ramna?" he began to turn green. "Excuse me!  I must attend the restroom for a moment!" he gasped.

    Akane walked down the hallway, suddenly Ramna’s door flew open and Kuno ran into the restroom, looking rather green. "Must have looked in Ramna’s sock drawer." She shrugged and saw Usagi come out watching him with a worried face.
    "Usa-chan? What happened?"
    Usagi looked to her. "I told Kuno about Ramna’s curse, he’s a little upset that his pigtailed goddess was his, so called, mortal enemy."
    Akane face vaulted, "He actually listened? Ramna and I have tried to tell him over a thousand times! But each time he began to spout poetry and thought that Ramna had her under some spell!"
    Usagi smiled a little, "People listen to me." From the restroom, muffled vomiting noises could still be heard.
 
    Usagi patted Kuno’s shoulder, "Are sure you’re OK? I could talk Soun into letting you sleep on the couch?"
Kuno waved his hand, "No, your heart is generous, but I shall not impose anymore. I thank you for directing me to the light about my pig tailed goddess, and preventing me from making a further fool of myself. You are a blossom among women. I shall see you tomorrow?"
    Usagi blushed, "I guess so, the Sensei should be better by then."
    Kuno caught her hand in his own, "Until then, my fair blossom!", he kissed her hand and left with great flourish. Usagi watched him go in a mix of wonder, embarrassment, and guilt. A faint blush colored her cheeks.
 
 

    Usagi closed the Dojo door behind her, Kuno had insisted on having Sasuke drive them home in his car. Usagi had been ashamed of that morning’s breakdown and tried to refuse, but to no avail. "So how’d it go?"
    Usagi stared at Akane, "How did what go?"
    Akane smiled, "Don’t try to hide from me! Your date with Kuno! Everyone called me and told me about Kuno walking you to school, eating lunch with you, and then driving you home!"
    Usagi blushed, "Kuno may like me, but he was just being a good friend."
    Akane rolled her eyes, "Sure! He just lost his Pigtailed goddess, and here comes another to take her place!"
    Usagi blushed, "You have too much imagination for your own good!" she snarled.

    As Akane entered her room she found Usagi sitting on her cot with a newspaper spread out before her. "What ya doing?"
"Looking for a job."
    Akane face vaulted. "What! What do you mean a job? You can’t be thinking of leaving already?"
    Usagi looked up. "Unless Soun finds away to let me earn my keep. I really hating being a free loader. One I can’t cook, two I’m not that good at martial arts, three, well forget three. I’ll just find a job and pay rent I guess."
    Akane sweat dropped, "Usagi? You sleep on a shot down cot and in my room to say the least! What’s there to pay rent for?"
    Usagi sighed, "Meals, school, a roof over my head, and I’m thinking about having Genma or Soun teach me Martial arts."
    Akane face vaulted again. She sat down on the floor by Usagi’s cot. "Ramna and I could teach you! I wouldn’t trust Genma to train a girl. And everything else, you pay for with companionship!"
    Usagi sighed, "It’s up to your father to decide whether I pay rent or not. But I could at least get a better cot."
    Akane giggled, "Well, there is that!"
    "What’s this about Usagi wanting to learn Martial Arts?" Ramna’s voice came from the doorway.
    "Did I hear a knock?", Akane said without turning.
    Ramna flushed, he closed the door and knocked, "That better?"
    "Yes, come in." Akane said primly.
    Ramna carried a note in one hand. "Usagi, this just came for you! The address is in a funny language, you know what it says?" he handed her the envelope. Usagi looked at it, the writing on the front was familiar, she had a memory flash and recognized it as Moon script. She looked it over and paled.
    "What’s it say?" Akane prompted. "TO Usagi."
    Usagi lied, when in actuality it to her Royal Highness, Princess Serenity. Usagi unfolded the letter and quickly translated it.

                  Dear Usagi,
 I wrote your old name on the front to make sure you wouldn’t read this aloud. This is Setsuna, I have found a way to contact you through the dimensions, I have information on how you can travel through the worlds. Meet me at Moon Light Park at 8:00 tonight, be there!
                Setsuna

    "It’s a letter from home, it’s a code my friends worked out. They say they miss me and everything is going fine and they wish I was still home.", she lied again. She folded the letter and stuffed it back into the envelope. She put it underneath her pillow. "Let’s go downstairs, Kasumi should have dinner ready soon.", she said with false cheer.
