Ami sat in the library, her nose buried in a book. Ancient history, someone
tapped her on the shoulder.  “Yes?”

She gasped, the girl who stood beside her smiled, her white hair cascading
down her shoulder.  “Hello Ami.”

Ami blinked. “Susa?”

The girl smiled again, but this time her eyes began to fill with tears. “Ami!
My sister!”

They threw their arms around each other. “Eh Susa! I thought you lived with
Dad!”

Susa pulled away and sniffed a little, “I did, but Dad’s going away for a while,
I came to live with you and Mum again.”  Ami noticed a ring one her sister’s
finger, there was something familiar about it. It was shaped like a cube of ice.
Susa quickly stuffed that hand into her finger. “Eh, Ami. I need to talk to you,
alone. Do you know somewhere we can go? Alone?”

Ami thought, “Yes, we’ll go into one of the study rooms.”

She led Susa into one of the tiny rooms. Luckily there was two chairs, and this
room had no security camera. Ami did a secret sensor sweep, to make sure.
She used her visor, set on clear. All clear, Susa sat down in a chair, “Ami, a
lot has happened since I last saw you, very important things.”

Ami sat down, “The same for me. You go first.”

Susa looked up, “I don’t mean tests, or competitions, I mean scary things,
supernatural things.” Ami lifted an eyebrow, this sounded like scout business,
she cleared her mind and prepared to memorized everything her sister said.
“I’ll start at the beginning, you see, Dad’s not on a trip, he’s in another
dimension. He died, but something took over his body and sent his mind
somewhere else. This thing, it’s like a parasite, it lives in other people’s
bodies, as far as I know there are two of them, and one is female. Anyway,
one night I’m sitting in my room, and then dad screams, I run downstairs and
this weird black fog seeps into his body. He stands up and looks at he, he
smiles and say, “Susa, do not worry, I won’t stay here long, I need to borrow
your Dad’s body or a while. Then he’s gone, and stays gone for two days.
Before you ask no, I didn’t call the police, what was I going to say? An alien
took over my dad’s body? Anyway, he stays gone for two days, then he’s
back, he smiles at me and starts telling me a story. HE told me that I’m this
mystical princess called the Ice Princess, and that our world was in horrible
danger, he was the last of her kind, except for another, a female. She calls
herself Metallia.”

Ami starts, “Did you say Metallia? Queen Metallia?”

Susa blinked, “You know of Queen Metallia?”

Ami grasped her sister’s hand, “Yes, I need you to tell me everything! Leave
nothing out. Then maybe my friends and I can help you.”

Susa nodded bewildered, “All right, he tells me to find Metallia and use the
Ancient powers of ice to defeat her. HE still shows up every now and then to
warn me of danger, his name is Aldaran.”

Ami bit her lip, “Susa, I need to tell you a story, maybe this will help clear
things up.”

She smiled secretly, if Raye and the others ever found out she studied
Witchcraft, they’d probably blow a gasket. She would have told them earlier,
but she had noticed signs of Anti-Witch-ers. She sighed, they’d probably been
fed horror stories about witches from day one of their lives. It would take
more time than Serena had to overcome all that prejudice and preconceptions,
not to mention opening up a new mode of torture for Raye. She could hear
Raye now “if you’re a witch then where’s your broom and long warty nose?”

Serena remembered with revulsion the play she had done with Ann and Alan,
Snow White, Serena had really been hoping to beat some sense into their
heads about witches, but No-o-o-o. Melvin, had to get the costumes. Serena
had given Ann some really bad luck trips, which were unexpectedly helpful.
She hadn’t known at the time that Ann and Alan were the Enemy of that
time. Otherwise the spell would have reversed on her, to teach her a lesson.
Serena reached into her blouse and looked at the pentacle she usually wore
around her neck, when Queen Serenity gave her, her new locket it had
melded with it and showed a pentacle melded with her locket. Serenity hadn’t
realized just what had happened, “Warrior Class Witch, that’s what I am,”
she muttered. She stuffed the pentacle back into her blouse, so as not to
incite a bunch of brats running up to her and yelling taunts about Devil
worship.

She started back home, then a wave of nausea washed over her, followed by
tingles and a horrible stench. “Not one damn minute to myself!” she ran into
an alley and transformed, her mind clouded over, “What in hell?”

A laughing voice echoed through her mind. “I finally have enough power to
takeover you, weakling! Fool! There is no such thing as Sailor Moon, I used
that as a disguise to fool you! Now I have a new host, and the Impirium
Silver Crystal!”

Serena struggled. “Oh no, I fought too long to let you have the crystal.”
Serena encased the Impirium crystal with her essence and melded it with
herself, the crowding force was unaware of the crystal’s absence. The
presence shoved Serena down and completely took her body. Serena hid the
crystal in the depths of herself and waited for a chance to retake control of
her body, she recognized the force now, it was Metallia, the Negaforce.  She
tapped Metallia’s memories and saw that she was a parasite, Metallia had
hid herself in Serena’s first locket, and had been slowly gathering energy to
take her body, leeching it from the energy released by a youma every time
it was destroyed. You’ll pay Monster, and dearly! She vowed silently. She
slowly snatched the communicator from Metallia’s wrist.

Ami called an emergency meeting of the scouts. They all assembled at Raye’s
temple. Ami sat with her sister. Raye looked around irritably, “Where is
Serena?”

Ami spoke up, “she isn’t answering her communicator. All I get is static, I’ve
been scanning the city, I can’t find her anywhere.”

Raye swore, “Oh great, Metallia returns and Meatball head, bearer of the
Silver Crystal is no where to be found. What a time to skip town!”

Lita slapped Raye, she fell to the ground. “Stop it Raye, I’m tired of you
always thinking the worse about Serena, aren’t you worried? Maybe Metallia
went after her first! You said it yourself, she has the crystal. And what does
Metallia want more than anything?”

A shadow fell across the door. “The universe under her thumb. You’re right
Lita, Metallia would go after her first.”

Ami looked up and gasped, “Dad?”

The man shifted uncomfortably, “Aldaran! What’s going on?” Susa stood up.

Suddenly Serena ran in panting, “Hey guys! Sorry I’m late, I was, uh, doing
my homework!” she plopped down on the carpet. “So what’s the big hurry?”

Raye rubbed her cheek, “See Lita you slapped me for nothing.”
Serena sneered, “I won’t say that, you deserve everything you get. If nothing’s
happening, then I’ll leave. You’re starting to bore me.”

Raye bolted forward and grabbed her arm. “Don’t bail on us now! You have
to stay.”

Serena glared at Raye, “Unhand me Bitch, don’t make me angry, you wouldn’t
like me when I’m angry.”

Raye gasped but didn’t let go. “You have responsibilities to the scouts!”

Serena barked a laugh, “Hah! Responsibilities to the scouts? Ha! More like
a bunch of little babies who can’t get up long enough to fight their own battle?
Maybe I’m tired of always bailing you out of trouble! Who always has to
finish it off or end it now? I’m tired of baby-sitting you guys, I don’t even
get paid. Charity is not my thing. Now let me go before I get annoyed.”

Raye gritted her teeth, “I don’t know what’s happened to you but…”

Crack! Serena fisted Raye in the jaw. “I said let me go!”

Raye loosed Serena and she left. Mina ran to Raye, “Raye? Are you all
right?”,

Raye dabbed at the blood on her mouth, “Yeah, she sure has a mean right
hook.”

Lita watched Serena go. “I guess she took your teasing a lot harder than we
thought, I never thought she’d react like that, cry? Yes. Punch Raye’s lights
out? No.”

Ami ran to the doorway. “Didn’t you guys notice?”

Raye stood up. “Notice what?”

Ami watched Serena turn the corner. “Her locket, the stones are black and
the star is upside down!”

Susa gasped, “What?  It’s the Pentagram! It’s associated with the devil, and
evil!”

Raye gasped, “Serena switched sides?”
Aldaran shook his head. “No, what I have to tell you is important. Metallia
has found a new host.”

Serena lay semi dormant is Metallia’s borrowed body. Slowly she searched
out Metallia’s weaknesses and began chipping away at them, a little at a time,
so she wouldn’s notice, she bound down Metallia’s strengths. She watched
through Metallia’s eyes as she knelt on a rooftop and watched the city with
her hungry eyes. My eyes, stolen from me. Serena looked through her third
eye at her Sailor Uniform. Everything that was red was now black and the
blue had changed into a red more like bloodstains, she suspected they were.
She watched, seething in anger as Metallia used her body to do mean things,
Metallia verbally abused Molly, physically assaulted Melvin. She watched
as Metallia’s unstable nature showed itself in minor ways, she went out of
her way to step on insects, she took worms from the earth and stuck them on
the asphalt, she threw stones at birds and jumped people for no reason. She
wore black at all times, when Ms. Haruna tried to punish her, she slapped her.
Serena watched as, over the course of a day, Metallia destroyed what it had
taken her a lifetime to accomplish. She attacked small children and scared
them to death. She was a monster. Serena knew her hopes, and her family
rested on tonight’s full moon. She slowly chipped and hammered and chiseled 
away at Metallia until there was only a weakened structure. Metallia’s
power would slowly heal itself, but not in time for tonight. When Metallia
tried a major spell. Serena would be able to force her out of her body. But
once Metallia left, she would be immune to the physical plights Serena had
one to her, her hope lay in a phase of the Moon and a tiny Silver crystal.

The scouts plotted through the afternoon, Aldaran told them what he could,
and Susa used her limited knowledge of witchcraft to aid them. “I don’t know
much more than the basics. But I do know that Metallia is a witch of the Dark
side. To defeat her we need a witch of the light. Tonight is a Full Moon, after
tonight it will be a month until the next. If we attack, we attack tonight, Raye,
Ami, Lita , Mina, we can’t combat her magically, we have to destroy Serena’s
body. It’s the only way, this way Serena can be reincarnated, if Metallia stays
after tonight, she’ll destroy Serena’s soul. That way she can be reincarnated
in time to use the Impirium Crystal to save earth.”

Aldaran nodded, “She’s right. Darien? What would you rather have, her soul
dead or a chance for her to be reincarnated, I mean it doesn’t happen for
another ten centuries, what if it’s the next incarnation that you have Reenie?”

Darien blinked and hung his head, “Yes but watching her die, and living the
rest of this life without her, it would be to much to bear.” A slow tear slipped
down his cheek.

Raye patted him on the back, “We know, but if Metallia survives then Serena
is dead!”

Darien threw off her hand, “But what about a witch of the light? Where can
we find one?”

Susa shook her head, “They’re so few now, that we would never find one in
time, there’s one, maybe two to a continent these days. They were hunted
almost into extinction along with the Dark ones during the Witch-hunts. And
calling one from the past is impossible, she wouldn’t get here in time to find
everything she needs to fight! No there’s only one way, total annihilation of
Serena’s body. I’m sorry.”

Raye breathed in deep, “No! I’ll ask the fire, there has to be one!” She ran
and knelt in front of the fire, “OH Great fire, tell us where to find a witch of
equal caliber to save Serena! Please great fire she’s in trouble!” She slumped,
“the fire says that there is no witch strong enough to save Serena that can get
here quickly enough. There is only one but she is already on a case and can’t
come.” Raye stood and tears flowed down her cheeks, of all the scouts, Raye
had loved Serena the most. It was tearing her up inside.

“We h-have to do it the way Susa said. There is no other way open to us.”,
Ami sniffed and buried her head in her sister’s arms. Lita looked as if she
wanted to cry , but wouldn’t allow others to see her cry.

Mina inhaled and her eyes closed. “Let’s do this, night is falling.”

Raye looked out the door, “Alright, I want to do this before I have time to
think about it.”

Everyone stood and transformed. Ami activated her Visor, “I’ve got Metallia’s
signal, she’s on the roof of Molly’s Mom’s Jewelry Business. She’s going to
attack Molly! Melvin and Ms. Haruna are there too! We’ve got to help them!”
 
Metallia transported the lot of silly humans onto the rooftop with her. “Hello?
What have we here? Just what I needed. AN energy boost!”

Ms. Haruna kept Molly and Melvin behind her. “Serena! Please stop! What’s
happened to you!”

Metallia threw her head back and laughed, “You humans are stupider than I
thought! You actually think I’m Serena? Hah! I have control of that little
fool’s body now, what a nice figure she has, I’ll put it to good use! No! I am
Metallia! Queen of the Negaforce! I’ll zap your energy dry! Insignificant
insects!”

Molly screamed and Ms. Haruna gasped. “Somehow, that woman took
control of Serena, that’s not her at all, I knew Serena would never do those
things!”  Melvin whispered to Molly and Ms. Haruna.

Suddenly a voice rang out across the roofs , “Stop right there Metallia! We
won’t let you hurt our friends!”

Metallia turned and laughed, “SO? You finally figured it out did you? Oh
look Aldaran, and my dear little Ice Princess! I thought that was you! Good,
I’ve outgrown this host, maybe once I’m done with her, I’ll save you for my
new body! Nega Power!” A huge blast of black lightning flew from her
fingertips, then suddenly sputtered out. “What? No this can’t be! You little
whore! You can’t do this to me!”

Suddenly Serena’t body inhaled and blew out the noxious cloud of gas. And
stay out of you bitch!” Serena stepped back. Now in control of her body she
began gathering power.

Metallia gathered herself and then knocked her down, Mars yelled, “Well,
Metallia! You are in for it now! Mars! Celestial, Fire! Surround!” The blast
hit Metallia and faded her some what. Metallia darkened and went for Molly,
it held her in its grasp.

“Drop her Nega-bitch!”  Molly fell to the ground gasping, Metallia turned
and formed yellow slated eyes in the cloud, it formed into Metallia’s true
self. She had long black hair done up in imitation Odangoes, and wore a
mock Queen Serenity dress, done in black. Serena stood holding a ball of
white energy in her hands, “I call for a challenge Metallia! Dark Witch to
Light Witch! You cannot refuse, agree or forfeit!”

Metallia sneered, “I accept, you are no match for me! I am Queen Metallia!”
She formed a similar ball of black energy in her hands. Serena’s ball exploded,
the motes reformed into a circle around her.
“The circle is formed,
Guardians of the four corners hear my call,
attend me in my hour of need!
North and the Powers or Mother and Earth! Come!”

Metallia’s ball formed into a circle,
“Circle of dark energy be made,
Nemesis of the Guardians!
Attend Me Now,
Poison , killer of earth ! Come!”

“Vast and the powers of Air and Invention! Come!

“Void enemy of air! Come!”

“Mouth and the Powers Fire and Passion! Come!”

“Hatred! Shoulder of Emotion, Come!”

“Rest and the Powers of Water and Intuition! Come!”

“Ignorance enemy of learning come!”

“Spirit! Essence of all things living! Hear me and answer my call!”

“Death! Ender of all things Living! Hear Me and Come!”

 Suddenly Serena was wearing a dress of white, not her princess gown, but
a dress tied around the middle with a white sash, the sleeves ended at her
elbows and were tied there. The skirt covered her white sandal wearing feet
and billowed in a wind.  Around her neck swung a silver Pentacle four tiny orbs
were attached to it each was the color of that designated corner, the top was
green the middle one to the east was yellow, the bottom red, and the last was
blue. From the red orb swung a tiny dagger.

Metallia gasped, “I’m a warrior class white witch! I thought your kind were
gone! Well I am a Dark warrior!” She wore a similar dress only it bared her
shoulders, she wore a Pentagram pendant.

“This time only one will leave the battle field!” shouted Serena, she held her
hands above her head and began to chant.

Metallia sneered, “True! It will be me! I have the Silver crystal!”

Serena stopped her chant in her upheld hands the silver crystal flared to life,
“Are you so sure? In this night and in this hour I call on the eldest power
Silver crystal strong and bright, erase this evil from our sight!” Suddenly
the moon on her forehead flared to light. Metallia screamed in anguish and
faded away, her circle and dark powers faded with her. Serena released her
circle thanking the powers and walked to the tiny smear that was all that was
left of Metallia. “Goodbye sister. May you be happy in your next life.”

Raye ran to Serena, “Why didn’t you tell us?”

Serena smiled “Would you have believed me?”  Ami ran forward, followed
by Mina and Lita. They assaulted her. “Hey! Let me breath!”

They let her, “I’m so glad you’re alright!”

Susa stood by Aldaran. “Thank you, Aldaran, I know of your plight, how
Metallia forced you be slave to her. If you wish healing, it is yours, I can
return your old body.”

Aldaran blinked, “You would do that for me?”

She nodded, the crystal glowed and Aldaran floated out of Ami’s father’s
body. The mist formed into a teenage boy Susa’s age. Susa ran up to him,
“A-Aldaran?”,

Aldaran grinned, “Susa?”

She threw her arms around him. Ami’s father stood up a little shakily,
“D-Did we get her?”

Aldaran came up to him. “Yes we did!”

Ami walked up to her father, “Hello Dad.”

He looked at her, “Ami?”

She threw her arms around him. “Yes Dad!”

He hugged her then held her back and looked her over. “My daughter,
Sailor Mercury, isn’t that skirt a little short?”

Raye nudged him with her elbow, “Don’t go there, take my word for it,
do not!”

Serena hugged Darien, he whispered something in her ear, only Raye was
close enough to hear. Serena smiled and shook her head. Ms. Haruna came
over to them, “So my worst student has supernatural power?”

Raye patted her shoulder, “Hang around with us long enough and you’ll
learn much more.”

Serena came over to Molly and Melvin, “You have to let me do something
to compensate for what Metallia did to you. Here! I know!”, she removed
Melvin’t cracked glasses and replaced them with ones that didn’t make him
so nerd-like , she waved his hand over his face, suddenly all his acne was
gone. “I healed an imbalance in your chemical system. Now you won’t have
so much problems.”

Molly looked at Melvin and whistled, “Wow! Melvin! You look, Wow!”, he
put his arm around her. Serena had never realized that without the glasses
her was a majorly hot guy.

She turned to Molly. “Hold still.”

Molly froze, Serena put a hand to her fore head, a small symbol appeared
there, and then faded away. “Wow! Thank you Serena!”

Melvin looked at her, “What’d you do?”

Serena smiled, “It’s a girl thing.”  She walked over to the edge of the roof.
She whistled, suddenly a broom appeared in front of her, and she mounted it.
“There’s a grain of truth in every legend, come on Darien. It’s a two seat-er.”
Darien mounted the broom behind her.

Ms. Haruna tapped Raye on the shoulder, “What did he just ask her?”

Raye smiled, “If witch craft required a vow of celibacy. (No sex ever)”

Ms. Haruna’s eye’s widened, “Oh NO! Get back here!”, Serena and Darien
took off into the night , leaving Ms. Haruna yelling on the roof top.
