“PABLO” 1981 SEIDELMANN 24

About the Seidelmann 24

The Seidelmann 24 is a collaboration between Bob Seidelmann, Wally Ross ("Sail Power") & Bruce Kirby. Ross launched the popular & successful Sonar 23 (phrf=180!) designed by Kirby & matched it up with the deck design of Seidelmann's S-25. For trailerability they swapped a fin keel for a permanent shoal keel & included a deep centerboard for windward performance. The result is a boat that sails exceptionally well, is trailerable & very smart looking too. Below she sleeps 4 in 6.5' berths. It has sitting headroom.

Here is a shot of a Seidelmann 24 sailing in heavy air. She is very stable and fast. Pablo would be shown with a NORTH race mainsail and a NORTH mylar/kevlar race pentex #1 Genoa !
