Dude, heres another one. and another one. Yup its jean again updating the PAC website. So...everything is going well. From what i have seen, Ribbon people knows their stuff. Fan pple is still in progress, but old fan pple have been working on shows, and its coming out great. Then, there's Hawaiian, lots of progress, ive seen those lady shake their hips and doing their thang. Philipino, BADASS!! well there's only been two practices so far, but the pple in it learns fast. Then for Japanese...wow been staying long hours, but its well worth it cuz Yamada has been teaching us so many things. And one dance is almost complete!! what else...singing AMY [[forgot last name sorry!!]] has tried out and she made it!! Yvonne and Kristine might be singing as well. Lion dance, Peter is teaching that and we still gotta get the lion head from EL SERENO, but no one knows where its located. sigh.
Shows that i would like you guys to know about...just so no one feels out of place...
NORTHERN LEAGUE: We did a show on the second day of CHINESE NEW YEAR for a Leadership conference. It only involved the previous fan dancers becuz time was very limited. All went well, we were fed free Chinese takeout food. Yummy.
GARDENA HIGH PERFORMANCE: This show was brought up by Mrs. Yamada. It is to celebrate a chinese culture thingy. So as it seems, only Fan and Ribbon are doing the performance. We had a practice yesterday that went well. Our show is next thursday the 24 of February. Our dress rehearsal is next Wednesday. OH, if anyone wants to check out the show, tell me and ill give you info.
thats it for now.
Questions. comments. suggestions.

hey it's jean. Well, we seem to have some things under control. Practices for dances has been set. Today [wednesday] was GOddess/Ribbon practice. TOmorrow [thursday] afterschool around 5. Also, Hawaiian practice is thrusdays as well taught by our previous VP Candice. Chinese Fan dance is usually on Tuesdays. THis friday during lunch we are gonna have a singing tryouts for those of you who wants to sing for the show. Plus we have this awesome Lunar festival thingy on i forgot. BUt basically its out on the streets of somewhere and its really cool!! those of you who are interested in going on this trip, contact any of us cabinet.
on a side note, i just need to let the club know that...i apologize for my rational actions. i know it was un-counted for. So therefore i apologize. HOwever, i do not apologize fully because i am really disappointed in the clubs participation. I think its really rude of the members not paying attention and talking or not even participating in what we plan out. I hear complaints of how the meetings are so boring this and that...well i have these icebreakers that i know are very fun, however nobody wants to participate in them. SO next time people, think before you complain about anything. Well the only advice i can give to people is GROW UP, we are already grown up, but the attitude seems to be behind. i hope this is good advice because some of you will be future leaders. and these qualities that you have now doesnt seem to fit a description of a good leader. SOrry for sounding so harsh, but tis how i feel. IN addition, i do want this PAC show to be the best. SO LETS ALL DO OUR BEST!!
Monday January 10, 2005
hoi hoi, tis jean today wishin yall a late Happy New Year!! and umm plus tellin yall about events or watever.
SO...have a fun break everyone? well, fyi...there was a tsunami that killed a bunch of people in southeast asia...so PAC is starting a relief for this tragedy. THerefore we ask you members to help donate anything you can, whether its money, clothes, food...anything!! will be appreciated.
So if any one is in a dance, and hasn't really got any info about practices or if you even began practicing, bug the leaders!! say we want practice NOW!! we want this years show to be awesome, so lets begin practices. Also, anyone who is up for some serious dancing...mostly time consuming...but well worth it, well Mrs. Yamada will be teaching the japanese dances this year again, so if your up for the challenge, please tell me or any of the cabinet memebers.
so...BE THERE AT WEDNESDAY'S MTG!! i have something very special planned. =)

hey people! this is your treasurer lisa pisa doing a quick update...but when tennis season is over, hopefully i can start putting up the pix to this site..i have so many things to do w/ this thing but school keeping me away!!..anyways, i just got off the phone and there may be a possibility of a filipino dance happening at the PAC Assembly!!! although, we need DEDICATED people, because practices will only be on the weekends. u must be able to meet somewhere in the el sereno community, probably either the school or el sereno park. it will be that filipino dance that you do with the bamboo sticks...so we need people who are careful and will not be afraid of feet being clipped! accidently of course! if we could get some nice strong guys to sign up, with the girl in the middle, the we could teach you some nice tricks!! so hurry and sign up because I AM! although, this year, i am regretfully not able to participate in everything for the pac assembly again, i hope that i can at least do this filipino dance. so join those japanese, chinese, etc performances guys!!!
oh yes, we also need some fully vibrating vocal cords out there...anyone interested in singing?! if you have any other ideas/suggestions for the show, please don't hesitate to ask/inform us...

Well, this year, PAC meetings still be held every Wednesday, but in Mr. Ha's room in 341. PACNIC was pretty fun wasn't it? It was by far the longest PACNIC ever! =P Well, around 22 people attended and thanks for being there and making it oh so fun. Anyway...
So how's everybody's summer? Is it boring? ...Well don't cry yet, cause it's gonna be F-U-N! You know why? Because there will be a very, very fun event next month called the Lotus Festival. I've been there before and it has got to be one of the funnest (if there is such a word, which I doubt) events. So anyway... here's the dilio:
Event: Lotus Festival
Date: Saturday, July 10th, 2004
(not the 27)
Time: 12:00 pm
Location: Echo Park
Some transportation will be provided but we don't have a bus to drive all of you, so try to find your own ride! If you are willing to provide transportation for us, that'd be great! Just contact any one of the cabinet members. Thanks, we'll see you there!
Okay.. now I'll end the cheesy phrases and junk. Yes, I know I said "Fun" and other variations (sp?) of it too much.

Hello people! Nice job working on the site jenncredible! I hope I can keep up with this site in the future.
Our first fundraiser as the new cabinet was a minor success. We'll hopefully have more to come. The Cinco de Mayo Food Fair was one of the most hectic events I've ever been to. It was jenncredibly crowded! We spent what we had been given and made a profit of $84...not bad at all!
Now our next event to focus on is the PACnic...I hope everyone's ready for potluck!
Oh yeah, check out the Photo Gallery at the left, I've added a few pictures from the PAC Assembly. Pictures from the Langley Performance (Monterrey) will be posted when we have the time. I was hoping to post up some clips, but then the site won't let us post more than 15MB, so we'll figure something out. Sorry for the long loads if you have slow internet! If you guys see me at school, remind me to take your picture! I hopefully will order them online soon to put them in the scrapbook...Erica, you have soo much work to do!
Over and Out....

Okay, since everyone has been complaining that this site isn't updated, I'm
here to do that. The PAC Assembly pictures have been uploaded and posted up
so you could check them out in the PHOTO GALLERY
section. They're collages because I figured it'd take FOREVER if I posted up
individual pictures. But be patient 'cause the collage is bigger than a normal
sized pic. I know the picture quality is ehh.. but I didn't want to make the
size too big or it'll take forever to load if you have 56k. You win, you lose
some. Anyway..
Last day for nominations for the new candidates were today.
We made over $400 profit from the PAC Assembly.
Speeches will be made next week, so be prepared.
I know we have more members but I haven't had the time to update the list
yet.
Elections will be held whenever everyone is done with their speeches. It
should be the week after the Speech day.
I believe our email account has been deleted since no one checked it for
a while, so if you have any concerns, just ask us at the meeting.
Cinco de Mayo is coming up soon so we are going to sell food.
If I get bored, I might make a new, better layout for this site.
 I'm getting hungry.
