Pinewood and Space Derby Information

Pack 80 Committee Positions Need to be filled!

    Please look over the positions available and volunteer to help where you can!

Assistant Cubmaster - Make presentations of awards, announcements at Pack Meetings and chair the Leader's Meetings once a month when the Cubmaster is unable to.

Training - This positions purpose is to keep track of the leader's training statuses and schedule leader training when necessary.  You must attend the monthly committee meeting and receive the Fast Start and Cub Leader Basic Leader Training (that takes one Saturday morning).  

Field Trip(s) - Make arrangements for pack field trips, secure tour permit, provide committee with trip details and costs, direct all funds to be collected by the Treasurer.  This positions requires Fast Start and Cub Leader Basic Training.  Attend monthly committee meetings.

Pinewood Derby - Attend January and February committee and leaders meetings.  Store and maintain Derby track and Equipment.  Organize Pinewood Derby for March Pack Meeting.  Arrange for assistance for registration and during the race.  At the direction of the committee purchase needed material.  Arrange for entertainment.  Provide committee with an outline for the event.

Blue and Gold - Attend December and January committee and leaders meetings.  Assist the leaders in developing a theme for the dinner.  Organize dinner for the February Pack Meeting.  Arrange for assistance in setup decoration and cleanup.  At the direction of the committee purchase needed materials.  Arrange for entertainment.  Provide committee with an outline for the event.

Bowl-a-thon - Attend December and January committee and leaders meetings.  Distribute Bowl-a-thon information.  Keep pack informed of the event, prizes, dates and other information.  Collect pledge sheets and coordinate with council.  Coordinate with bowling alley.

Camping and Transportation - Attend August, September, April and May committee and leaders meetings.  Receive Fast Start and Cub Leader Basic Leader Training.  Maintain pack vehicular information.  Make arrangements for campout.  Secure tour permit.  Provide committee with trip details and costs.  Direct all funds to be collected by the treasurer. 

Recreation Park Cleanup - Attend September and March committee and leaders meetings.  Coordinate activity with Clinton Rec Dept. and Nine Partners Lions Club.  Keep pack informed.

Quartermaster - Attend monthly committee, pack and leaders meetings.  Receive Fast Start and Cub Leader Basic Leader Training.  Provide storage for pack materials.  Keep inventory of all pack property.  Keep committee informed on the condition of pack equipment.
