The boys took a scenic hike along the TicFaw River that wound into the forest and required them to test their compass and map skills. Along the way, they had to cross a few unconventional bridges that had been made by Boy Scouts.

The boys ate silver turtles for lunch - a meal they made themselves by wrapping a hamburger and various vegetables in aluminum foil and placing it over an open fire. The boys learned and practiced fire safety in the process of preparing lunch.

After lunch, they took turns harnessing up and riding on the zip line. Even Mrs. Julie and Mrs. Colleen took a turn. The boys spent the rest of the day canoeing on the pond.

The boys thanked the Trooper's by spending time picking up trash in one of areas of the facility.

A big thanks goes out to Kevin for arranging the event and giving us such good memories!
