Nineteen boys from Dens 5, 9, 10 and Tiger Cubs #2 and their families explored the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and the Marin Headlands on Sunday, February 6, 2000. The group completed the Rodeo Lagoon Trail Trekker Hike and visited the Nike Missile Base. We met Pack 42 from Novato who was also touring the Missile Base. Exploring the beach was exciting, with the boys finding numerous stones and pebbles of various colors. A few shorebirds were identified and several jellyfish uncovered.
