SWIMWELL FLOATING RESORT

We decided to celebrate Sis. Inday Garrote’s birthday yesterday at Swimwell Floating Resort in Malalag. The weather was cooperating as it did not rain just an overcast though, it was good enough for the  sun was not that scorching but still the UV rays is more intense on this condition as they say.

Swimwell is floating on a fiber glass and bamboo flat form, it has a bunk for those who want stay   overnight… perfect on a moonlit night. Its new added flat form is double decked that can accommodate  around 50 persons. The rest room is clean and the tidiness of the whole place is well maintained. Its swimming area is like a pool within the sea, big pvc pipes bordered its side with nets in the bottom for  safety. Life vests are also available for those who are not confident in the water and a rope across it is set up to hold on. One can go hook and line fishing or just enjoy watching the fishes around the clear torquise water. The Resort is operated by Mr.& Mrs. Clemente Lisondra.

Take an outrigger boat ride from Malalag port, the operator will charge php 20/pax one way. Be sure to arrange the sked of your return trip so you can be picked up on time. Resort rate is php 35/pax. There’s no canteen in the resort, forgetting something is a no no. We forgot to buy tanduay and left the coke in the car, maayo na lang kay naay tuba ang bangkero, Sydney, Ric and I enjoy imbibing its sweetness except for Carlo.

Visit swimwell next time ur in town.     SEE IMAGES....
