26.02.2002 GRAND PRIX "ARRANGED"?

Yesterday I received a mail from an indignant Kelly fan. According to the mail many fans tried to vote for Kellys but ......... the line was permanently busy. This could have been a good sign. There had to be at least so many votes as May received, but Kellys finished on the fourth place. It's obvious that there has happened something fishy! You can read the mail by clicking here, and if you know other Kelly fans, please send them the mail too. The Kellys ended on the fourth place, but all fans have to know the truth.

Paddy: "Ist ok, wir sind auch happy, dass wir Platz vier gewinnen haben. Es hat auch Spass gemacht einfach dabei zu sein" (BLITZ - SAT1) (It's ok because we won the forth place. We enjoyed our time there)

Jimmy: "Ich glaub' trotzdem, dass Maite gewonnen hat, die Maite hat heute Abend gewonnen. Nix gegen Corinna, Maite für mich gewonnen hat und für die Leute auch". (BLITZ - SAT1) (I think that Maite won, Maite was the winner tonight. I don't have anything against Corinna, but for me Maite won, and for other people, too)

Paddy: "Alle dachten was hier los ist." (BLITZ - SAT1) ((All were thinking what happened here.)

Joey: "Wir sind froh mit den vierten Platz. Wir sind froh dabei zu sein, da waren knapp 10 Milionen Leute die zugeguckt haben, und haben einen Song von unsere neue Platte gehört und toll, wir sind dankbar, dass wir dabei sein dürften" (EXTRA TV) (We're happy with the fourth place. We were happy that we have participated, there were around 10 million people who were watching the show and they have heard one song of our new album and cool, we were happy we were allowed to have participated there"

25.02.2002 Today appears "I Wanna Be Loved" LP. You can buy it with 6,99 EURO. The LP is promoted by Polydor.

24.02.2002 Bad and good news!

Papa Kelly feels much better! That's the good news! The bad news is, that papa Kelly can't walk or speak. He has to fight again, to learn to walk and speak. But, he's a Kelly, and all Kellys are fighters.

23.02.2002 Corinna May is the winner, Kellys the looser!

I am not surprised at all. Nobody wanted them. For the beginning there were so many scandals.... First they wanted to disqualified them, because of Joey, then they said that "I Wanna Be Loved" was released before the Grand - Prix..... . It was so obvious that they won't win.... First they were on the first position, and after all the scandals they reached the third and even the fourth place. Joey and Angelo were right: they have so many fans which won't call, because they will find this useless, as they are sure Kellys will win. Life is unfair sometimes, and this is a prove.

But let's see the brightest side... Paddy wants to represent Ireland, next year, if they fail this time. In conclusion, let's hope Irish fans will help them more.

20.02.2002 Isabel Suares vs. Maite - Is Isabel's song better?

What a mess! Brink started to attack the Kellys. He said only ugly things about their outfits.

Isabel Suares (picture) is the name of Kellys' biggest "enemy". The 18-year old Isabel won the vote from "Bild" magazine. Joey thinks that Isabel can bring a fresh air in the Eurovision contest and that she has a wonderful voice. He also said that many people are sure they will win, and they won't waste their time to vote. Isabel's song, Will My Heart Survive, is produced by Dieter Bohlen and this is her first performance on the stage. Is she really a danger for Maite? Is really Isabel's song the best, better than Maite's? We hope not, but till Friday we can't do anything more than hope.

But the results of the vote on ndr.de aren't too optimistic. Just watch this:

2. Normal Generation 19%

3. Isabel Suares 15,8 %

4. Kelly Family 13,3 %

Vote for the Kellys! They have to represent Germany, but they will do this only if we help them. They also wanna give a FREE concert for fans. They need our help now! It's our turn to make them happy!

13.02.2002 Good news. I've just visited http://www.ndr.de/ and I saw there a top three. VOTE FOR KELLYS!

1. Kelly Family 31,9%

2. Normal Generation 17%

3. Corinna May 10%

But, not everybody thinks that they will win. For example Uwe Hubner, a music expert, thinks that Natalie (who has only 3,3 % in ndr.de survey) has chances to win.

And now a soft and funny news. Kellys wanted to shoot a clip to "What's A Matter You People", and for this, they sang in Alexanderplatz, just like they used to do in past. But, as well as in past, Police asked them to leave.

08.02.2002 Although Papa Kelly has serious health problems, the family start preparing the performance for the Grand-Prix. The audience can already hear the songs on line. Stefan Raab considers that Kellys will be the winners (we, too). But Dieter Bohlen won't vote for sure for they. They seem to be the favorites for the Grand-Prix. Maite thinks that "I Wanna Be Loved" will have a huge success. (I am sure that all fans who know the song think the same). If they win on 22nd of February in Kiel, they'll  give a good-bye concert in Gymnich, in Brühl, as they'll sell the castle.

The new album "La Patata" will appear in April. We hardly can wait for it!

07.02.2002 Sad days for the Kellys! Papa Kelly lies in hospital! He suffered a cerebral contusion and his situation seems to be pretty bad. We all hope he'll feel ok. All Kellys are praying for their father. They wanna sing their song "I Wanna Be Loved" for their father, and they wanna win for their father too. Joey said: "He's a winner! He can live 10 or 20 years more". We hope you're right, Jo. The "Grand Prix" is in fact a prove of love for their father. Kellys wanna win because Papa Kelly wishes this. 

And another sad thing. Kellys will sell their castle Gymnich. In April will be a good bye concert for Gymnich.

02.02.2002 On 25th of February will appear the first Kelly L.P. of this year. It's about Maite's blues, the Eurovision song, "I Wanna Be Loved". On 22nd we'll finally know if the Kellys represents Germany at "Grand Prix d'Eurovision", which will take place in Estland, on 25th of May. The idea with Eurovision was Paddy's.
