At the funeral were invited 50 persons. Darrarra church was 5 km far from the house. Around the grave they all sang "Ave Maria" and hold their hands.
Photo: Kellys in Ireland On Sunday Kellys left Ireland and reached at 11,45 a.m. the airport from Düsseldorf, Germany. They went in Köln and rest a little and at 6 p.m. they were at Santa Maria church. 200 guests and almost 2000 fans were present there, at the last memory meeting for Papa Dan. They all prayed together with the Kellys. Patricia, Maite and Paddy sang "Calling Heaven", "Ave Maria" and it was played "Greensleves" with Dan's voice. This week it will be read Dan's will. Silvia W. (38) was Dan's greatest secret love (after the death of his wife). They lived together in the castle. According to some gossips (source: Bild newspaper) Silvia is mentioned in Dan's will. 11.08.2002 There is no will at all! All about the hidden love who will get all the money is gossip. It appeared in "Bild" newspaper. Silvia W. (38), Dan's ex psychologist exists and it is said that they were a couple for five years but the children never accept her as a member of the family (RTL). As there is no will, the sum of money will be shared to all children. Every child will receive almost 1,4 Mil. Euro (incl. Paul). On Friday took place the funeral in Cork, Ireland. Paddy and Paul arranged all. Kellys will go on with concerts. On 23rd of September, N3 will present "Friendship- Stars for UNICEF" with Kellys, too. The show will be presented by Jörg Pillawa. 08.08.2002 Mystery: 15 Mil. Euro is Papa Dan's fortune. All this can go to his hidden girl friend, his young psychologist, 38 years old. Fans are worried that Kellys may argue because of this legacy and the band may split. Joey said that Kellys would go on with music. This isn't the end of Kelly Family. The concerts weren't cancelled. The funeral will take place this weekend in Ireland and on Sunday, there will be in Koln, Germany a memory meeting. 07.08.2002 Papa Kelly died!
His last words were: "Keep On Singing!" Monday evening, 5th of August, 11 Kellys have gathered around their father until he stopped breathing. Father Dan Jerome, 71 years, suffered in the beginning of the year a cerebral contusion, and he remain paralyzed. For many month he hardly could speak and he was immobilized in a wheel chair. His children have been staying with, around his bed, him four days and nights. And the elder brothers, Caroline and Dan, came from America. Monday evening Kellys called for the doctor because Papa's heart was beating very slowly. At 22 o'clock the doctor wrote the reason of death: cerebral contusion. Since 1990 this was the 5th cerebral contusion. Three weeks before this Dan lost four time his consciousness. Now Papa Dan is still in the bed where he died, surrounded by many candles, and he wears a light blue pajamas. Next days his body will be carried in Ireland, where the funeral will take place. Kellys want to sing "Ave Maria" at Papa's grave. On Sunday, 11th of August, Kellys will be in Koln, at St.-Maria-Himmelfahrt church, for a memory meeting for Papa. Be beside them: pray for Papa! There will be more than 20 concerts in Germany, and 10, 20 or maybe 30 abroad. In autumn will be released the new Kelly single. The song won't be a "La Patata" song but a brand new one. But this autumn will be released the first Kelly DVD, but a video will be available, too. Joey stated that the Kellys would probably try again at Grand Prix after two years. They are working at the moment at the new Kelly album, but the album will be released only in autumn next year. Angelo will have a girl in the end of this year! |
