
Definition:
Meditation is hard to explain, it's a trance you can put yourself into by practice where you can experience many things, and possibly divine the future. You may also go into something called an Out of the Body Experience-which is what it sounds like.
Meditation is when you are subconsious and dwelling in it, when you realize you are meditating then you are no longer meditating.
It's like that realm between sleep and being awake where you are dreaming but your still awake. That's meditation.
With These techniques you can teach yourself to meditate and experience the depths of your minds, and manuver around in it's astral plains.
Simple Technique:
Find a comfortable chair where you feel relaxed in. Dim the lighting or light candles, to create a good atmosphere. I also recommend the use of music. Any soothing music that you find light or easy will work good.
To start meditating simply close your eyes and begin relaxing every part of your body. Let a ball of swirling relaxation work it's way up from your feet to the top of your head. Use slow deep breaths, breathe in 1..2..3..4, beathe out 1...2...3...4. Breath in through your nose and out your mouth. Try to free all thoughts from your mind, and focus on nothing in particular.
The hardest part of meditation is learning to let go of your thoughts. With practise this skill will come to you.
