PAHAD ASSOCIATION
Membership Types and Eligibility

Our Mission: To help deserving children from deprived families to obtain High School education and impart to them the Pestalozzi philosophy which insists on developing the child’s “Head”, “Heart” and the “Hands” as well.

Membership: PAHAD invites all persons interested in participating in this noble cause to become a Member. Your subscription is our ‘tool’, your time (when you can give it) is our ‘means’ and your deliberations our ‘guidance’ to achieve the mission. Active membership is not limited to the Committee alone.

Who can be a Member: A citizen of ANY country aged 16 years of age and above approved by the Executive Committee will be granted membership.

Types of Membership: The following types of Membership may be awarded to Individuals or Organisations. The membership fee for each category is as shown. 

Student Member NRS 120/- (annually)
Ordinary Member  NRS 400/- (annually)
Life Membership NRS 2100/- (One time payment)
Well - Wisher of PAHAD NRS 5,100/- or above (One time payment)
Companies and Organisations are to pay NRS 10,000 - or above
Friend of PAHAD NRS 20,000/- or above (One time payment)
Companies and Organisations are to pay NRS. 40,000 or above
Honorary member NRS 50,000/- or above (One time payment)
Companies and Organisations are to pay NRS 100,000 or above

Award of Membership:

NOTES:

  1. Registration Fee: New members are asked to pay an additional NRs 100/- with their application for the initial cost of documentation. (Life and Well Wisher Members’ subscription already includes this payment)  However, the Executive Committee may waive this requirement in cases deemed to be inappropriate.
  2. Student Member: Scholars on full time academic study, 16 years or over but below 21 years of age, may be awarded Student Membership. Registration fee is waived for Student Members.
  3. Ordinary Member: A member who has attained the age of 18 years of age may have the right to vote and serve on the Executive Committee.
  4. Applicant’s Choice: Persons eligible to become an “Ordinary Member” may apply for the other types of membership. viz. “Honorary Member”, “Friend of PAHAD”, “Well-Wisher” or “Life Member”.
  5. Non-Nepali Applicants: Membership types open to our Non-Nepali friends are “Honorary Member”, “Friend of PAHAD” or “Well Wisher” shown above. However, they have no voting rights or be elected to the Executive Committee. However, they may be co-opted into the Committee to assist.
