"The ideal artist is he who knows everything, feels everything,
experiences everything, and retains his experience in a spirit
of wonder and feed upon it with creative lust...
The artist is the man who makes life more interesting or beautiful,
more understandable or mysterious, or probably, in the best sense,
more wonderful. His trade is to deal with illimitable experience.
George BELLOWS. The paintings of George Bellows (1929)

I hope that looking at those paintings will open a door for you and
bring you an escape, even just for a few minutes.
Maybe it will also give you the sensation of “Being there,
and the need to consider a possible trip to my country, France.
France has inspired painters for centuries.
They came from all over the world to Paris because Paris has always been
the city of the arts and the city of lights.
I hope this will stay unchanged through this new Millenium,
and that Paris and France will remain full of life, beautiful sceneries,
able to mix past and future, craftsmanship and technology.
And most of all, that they will keep calling artists who appreciate
its beauties and will give them an urge to create.
