Things have not been going
smoothly, to say the least.
On the date of my last paycheck,
I discovered - along with all my coworkers - that we are getting
laid off. I was floored. I felt dizzy, wondering what was going to
happen to me. Thankfully I realized this was not the end of
the world.
At least they had the heart to wait until after
Christmas.
In the time since then, I have seriously looked
into attending college. I have lots of reasons for wanting to return
to school. I am thirsty for knowledge. I would love to get a degree.
There are so many things I would love to explore. Now all I have to
do is find someone to pay for it.
There have been many
emotional issues brought to our door, and we are handling them as
best as we can. Sometimes I am amazed at what the human spirit can
endure.
