The Adventures of Paisley Blue

I find myself alone in the big city, facing innumerable challenges and wondering how everything is going to work out.

It is exhilerating, at the same time, because I feel like I am in a fight for survival, and nothing gets the adrenaline pumping like being in survivalist mode.

In the meantime, I am wondering if I will be alone on Valentine's Day, and the prospect does not excite me.

I have also decided, in light of my current circumstances, to put school on hold (after all, I've been doing that for almost 20 years) and try to find a job. It's much more important to have a roof over my head.

Today the weather is so clear, I can see all the mountains, and Mt. Ranier looks lovely. It's easy to forget that it's a volcano that could rain destruction down on us at any moment.
