The choice for Bijapur was made firstly because it was roughly halfway between Bangalore, where I worked and Pune where Sridhar did. We decided that whoever comes first will paste a note on the enquiry counter at Platform Number 1 and as a backup we'll keep checking our mails and will phone Mayank and give him our current coordinates. I was shocked to find that there was no Enquiry Counter, however there was little problem in finding Sridhar as there were just 2 platforms. |

We started with Gol Gumbaz which is close to city station and is so dominating that is visible from almost everywhere. Coming out of there we were fortunate to get hired bicycles and then started the city tour. Covering all the monuments mentioned on the net one by one. |
| Not all of them were as magnificient as the Gol Gumbaz, but it was a nice trip, perhaps because the company was perfect. Had Bhutta outside Jumma Masjid, as brunch. |
