It's a beautiful fall morning here in south Florida. The humidity has gone down a lot the last few days. Now it's perfect walking weather, or exercising weather. I get out every morning and try to get a walk in. The farthest I've been able to get is only around the block, but at least it's some kind of exercise. My cardiologist said she wanted me to exercise for 40 minutes 3 times a week. Apparently she's never had a Fibro patient before. lol Most mornings if I can get a shower and get dressed by myself that's a huge feat!
Last Friday was my dual anniversary.....3 weeks of no smoking and 3 weeks since my heart surgery. I've been amazed at how fast time has flown by. I've also radically changed my life....better diet, exercise, no smoking, very little online time, better sleeping habits. The chest pains aren't as severe as they were, or as frequent. I'm still starved every waking moment of the day, and the craving for a smoke is still persistent, but I keep telling myself that it's going to get better. lol

stressful month this has been. My Mom has been in the hospital twice this month, and my nephew Brian has been in the hosptial once this month. Although they are both making progress, it's going to be some time before they're back to normal. In my Mom's case "normal" is going to require surgery. We're all hoping that she makes it through surgery ok. Her asthma is a real concern, as is the condition of her lungs. Then ad in the fact that she's only 2 months shy of being 80 years old too.
Tomorrow morning I go for my stress test at the cardiologist. But then looking back over the last 8 weeks I'd say I've already passed my latest "stress Testing". lol
