It's kind of late in the month to be doing an entry, but I was in here renovating and I thought I should say something. Just what I'll say who knows! (lol)
I woke up thinking this morning that today was one of those days that made me feel old. When I was a kid, Halloween was almost as important as Christmas. I looked forward to October all year long. I'd plan for weeks and months what I was going to be for Halloween. I remember one year my sister Linda went as "Cousin It" from the Adams Family. I was a princess, a bum, a ghost, and a million other costumes I've long forgotten. (thanks to the FM)
I'd walk up and down our street, knocking on doors and fooling (so I thought) the neighbors. One year I got smart and rode my bike. I made much more progress that year. I was able to cover a 4 block radius. Up until then, 2 blocks had been my maximum.
But now all I see is the expence of the candy. Getting up and down a million times (not an easy thing with FM) to answer the door doesn't sound enticing anymore either. No, I've decided to be absent from this Halloween season. Forgive me little kids...I've gotten old. (lol)
