Eric and Greta Fan Fiction
Chapter ten
It was awhile before Greta gently eased herself out of Eric's arms.  He smiled down at her in the sunlight.
"What's next to do?" she asked.
"I don't know, what do you want to do?" he asked.
"Well, we could go swimming again" she suggested.
"I know a good spot where we could go and swim' he said.  "But first we need to go fill up the boat"
"Ok" she said, standing up.
"And you're going to drive it there" he said.
"What?  I don't know how" she said.
"It's ok, I'll teach you" he said.  "Trust me"
"I do but Eric..." she started.  He put his finger on her lips to silence her.
"Do you trust me?" he said.
"Yes, of course but...".  He stopped her again and gently kissed her.
"Do you trust me/" he quietly repeated himself.
"Yes" she said.
"Good"  he said, leading her over across the boat.  He had her sit down and he slid into the seat behind her, with his legs straddling her.  He showed her how everything and then had her start up the engine.  She slowly drove it out of the cove and steered it into the open waters.
"I told you that you could do it" he said, in her ear.
"Easier than driving a car" she said, laughing.  He kissed the side of her neck and watched her, enjoying himself because she was enjoying herself.  He showed her how to get to the place was to get gas.
"It gets a little tricky here so how about you have me steer?" he said.  She slid off the seat and settled on the other chair as he pulled it up to the dock.  The dock boy ran over and helped Eric tie it to the dock.  Eric stood up and pulled on his sandels.
"I'm going to run in and grab a soda...you want one?" he asked.
"Yeah, sure, thanks" she said.  He gave her a kiss on the cheek and then jumped on the dock and walked off.  She watched him walk until he disappeared in the store.  She stood up and walked over to the bench that wrapped around the front of the boat and stretched out on it.  She heard foosteps approaching and opened her eyes but didn't recognize the shoes.
"Wow" she heard a voice say.  "It's not often that we're lucky enough to have a boat with a pretty girl like you in it"  She looked up to see one of the station workers standing above her.  She have him a weak smile and closed her eyes again.
"are you staying her long?" he asked, checking the gas pump.
"Just for the weekend" she said, trying to be polite.
"That's a shame" he said.  "Could've had some fun with a girl like you"
"Excuse me?' she said, disgusted.
"I know all you rich girls" he said.  "Think you're better than us that work.  Well, get over yourself because you'd be lucky to be with a guy like me"
"Don't flatter yourself" she said.  "Just get lost"
"What, are you going to get daddy to come save you?" he said, laughing.  Greta saw Eric approaching and leaned back with a smile.
"No, just me" Eric said, walking up to the guy.  Suddenly, he looked really small next to Eric.
"You're all set to go, sir" he said, finally put in his place.  "Have a good weekend"
"Yeah, thanks" Eric said, climbing onto the boat.  Greta rose and he wrapped his arm around her waist.  He gave her a kiss on the top of her head as the other guy untied the boat from the dock.  Eric pulled away and started the engine up.
"Jackass" she heard him mutter under his breath.
"Eric!" she said, half-joking.  He turned and gave her a grin.
"Sorry" he said.
"Thanks for saving me" she said.
"No problem" he said.
"I owe you one"
"I'm sure we'll find a way for you to make it up to me" he said, with a mischevious grin.  She laughed and batted him lightly on the shoulder.  He drove the rest of the way to an area set way in the back.  The sun was shining right on the water and Greta immediately felt warm from it.  After he had dropped the anchor, she leaned over and felt the water to be warm.
"Ready?" Eric asked, reaching to take his shoes off.
"Meet ya in there" she said, slipping off the boat and letting the warm water gently envelope her.
'Heads up!" she heard him yell and saw him jumping off the boat.  He tucked his legs up to his chest and hit the water hard, causing a wave of water to wash over her.  He came up, laughing.
"Oh, you're asking for it!" she said, wiping the water from her eyes.  She began to splash him and he returned it.  They spent another hour in the water, splashing and swimming and wrestling with each other until Eric looked at his watch.
"We better get this thing back, it's 4:30" he said.
"Today went so fast" she said, reluctantly swimming back to the boat.
"It's not over yet" he said, pulling her onto the boat and kissing her.    "We still have dinner plans"
"Good, I'm starving" she said.
"Me too" he agreed, as he pulled her close.  "But not for food"  She grew serious.
"Eric, I really hope you didn't have a hidden agenda for this weekend" she started.
"Greta, do you really think I would do that?" he said.  "That's not what I went by that comment.  I know that we're going to wait until we're both fully ready before we...do that.  What I meant is that I want to be with you.  I want to hold you and hug you and kiss you.  Cause I need you Greta..I really do."  She gave him a tired smile.
"Ok" she said.  "As long as you didn't mean something else"
"Oh, I can't wait for that to happen too" he said.  "But I wouldn't hear of it till you were completely ready"
"Thank you" she whispered, hugging him.
"Sure thing" he said, hugging her back.  "But we better get back soon so we can get cleaned up...cause sweetie, you smell"
"What?" she said, her eyes widening with anger.
"I'm just kidding" he said.  "You smell like lake water"
"Well...so do you!" she said, trying to think of a comeback.  He just laughed at her.
"I know I do!" he said.  "That's why I want to get back".  She just shook her head at him.
"Why do I put up with this?" she said, jokingly.
"I wonder that too sometimes" he said, starting the boat up and driving it back to their dock.  She helped him tie it up and then they gathered their things and started back up the path to their house.
"I didn't realize how exhausted I was till now!" Greta said, a yawn escaping her.
"Better get some energy then, we still have a long night ahead"  he said, holding the door open for her.
"Thanks" she said.  "I'll be fine once I shower...but how about you go ahead first?  It always takes me longer"
"Sure, thanks" he said, slipping in the bathroom.  "Oh, by the way, did you bring anything nice to wear?" he yelled through the door.
"I thought all my clothes were nice" she yelled  back, smiling.
"They are but I meant like dressy" he yelled.
'Yeah, I have something" she said, walking over to her suitcase.  She heard the shower start up as she opened it up.
"Just wait till you see this, Eric" she said, pulling out a small folded bundle.  She undid it and held it up to her in the mirror.  It was a small black dress with spagetti straps.  It was cut high above her chest but had cutouts that showed her cleavage.  It came to a stop high above her knees, blushing in that she had never worn anything so short before, and had a small amount of glitter all over it.  "Just wait"
