| Eric and Greta Fan Fiction Chapter Eleven |
| Eric was soon done with his shower and slipped into their shared room wearing his boxers. She then went into the bathroom and organized her things. She looked longingly at the large, 2-man bathtub that sat near the window-it even had a little basket full of bubble bath and things like it sitting on the edge. But she knew she had to shower regularly just to get the lake water out of her hair. She was digging through the basket for shampoo when she suddenly had an idea. She quickly showered and washed her hair and then got out and wrapped the towel around her. She began to fill up the tub with warm water and lots of bubble bath. She clipped her clean hair up and checked her watch-she could soak for 15 minuntes and still have time to get ready. Once the tub was almost full she dropped her towel and stepped into the water. She was immediately relaxed and her muscles felt regenerized after all the swimming she had done today. She sat back and closed her eyes. "Hey, do you mind if I grab my...oh, sorry, I didn't know you were still bathing" Eric said, letting himself in the door and stopping. "It's ok, grab what you need" she said, giving him a smile. She knew that he couldn't see anything-the water was too high and the bubbles nearly came to her chin. "Ok, thanks" he said, walking to the sink but tripping over the rug as he stared at her. "What's wrong Eric, never seen a girl take a bubble bath before?" she gently teased. "No one as beautiful as you" he said, grabbing his shaving bag. Greta stretched her one leg out of the water and Eric swallowed hard as the bubbles ran off her smooth skin. He went over and sat down on the edge of the tub. She knew the effect she was having on him and played it up the best she could. She lifted her hand out of the water and rubbed the scented foam across her collarbone and down her arm. "Need someone to wash your back?" he asked, his voice breaking and Greta laughed. "No, I think I can handle it" she said. He coughed hard. "Is there room in there for two?" he asked, leaning over and letting his right hand gently skim the water. "Well, yes, but I doubt we would make dinner that way" she answered. He grinned. "That's the point" "But I'm hungry" she said, raising up her other leg and watching the water slid off it. "That's what room service is for" he said, leaning over and placing a kiss on her lips. He pulled away and looked her in the eyes as he turned his body to slide his legs in. "I don't think so" she said, putting her hand out to stop him. "Miss Greta, you have no idea what you're doing to me" he said, in almost a growl. "I think I do" she said, teasingly placing a fluff of bubbles on his nose. "So calm down, cowboy, there's plently of time for that later" "What are you implying?" he asked. She shook her head. "You're the one that's been playing surprises on me all day" she said. "Now, it's my turn" "But I don't wanna wait" he said. "Waiting will only make it better" she said, their faces only inches apart. He sat up. "I don't think it gets any better than this" he said, motioning to the tub. She laughed. "If we are going to make it to dinner, you better let me get out and start to get ready" she said. "It's getting late" He groaned. "We may never end up in a situation like this again" he said. "We don't want to blow our only chance" "If you play your cards right, maybe we'll make it back here later" she said. "Really?" he asked, his eyes lighting up. "We'll see...now get out so I can get dressed!" she said, shooing him out the door. He left but not before mock-pleading with her again at the doorway. She blew him a kiss and he pretended to catch it as he shut the door behind him. She smiled to herself and pulled herself reluctantly out of the tub. She wrapped the towel around herself as she dried off and put on her new lotion- "Guaranteed to turn a guy's head" the saleswoman had said. She laughed-she didn't think that would be a problem tonight. With the towel wrapped around her tightly, she cautiously opened the door to the bedroom. "Everyone decent in here?" she asked. "Yup" he answered, as she entered. "But you're not" "I know, I just want to grab my dress and that-I'm going to dress in the bathroom" she said. She walked past him on the bed and he jokingly tugged on the back of her towel. She batted his hand away and slipped back into the bathroom. There, she pulled on her undergarments and blow-dried her long hair. She put it up in rollers and sat down to put on a little make-up. Once she was done, she took the rollers out and her hair fell down her back in long, wide curls. She twisted her hair up and clipped it up, letting the curls fall down alongside her face and neck, carefully arranging the long, brown curls. She jumped when there was a knock on the door. "Heads up, I'm coming in!" she heard him yell. "Eric, no!" she shouted, quickly grabbing for her towel. She heard his gently laughter. "I'm just kidding, I'm not coming in" he said. "But are you almost ready?" "I just need to get dressed and do a few final things" she said. "Ok...I'll be waiting for you in the living room" he said. "Ok, give me like 10 minutes" she said. He jokingly rattled the doorknob and she cried out for him to stop. "I'll let you alone now" he said, laughing. She shook her head. She pulled on a pair of black stockings and then carefully slid into the dress and zipped it up. She slid into a pair of black heeled sandels and did the clasps. She stood up and smoothed out her dress as she looked in the mirror. Her hair looked nice, considering the beating it had taken with the sun and the wind. It fell gracefully along her long neck and she knew Eric would be glad to see her hair up. The dress was cut high but showed small parts of her curves through the cutouts. It fell above her knees and the short dress and the heels made her legs look long and shapely. She quickly put on a little more blush and the patted some perfume behind her ears and along her neck. She gave one last look in the mirror as she gathered her make-up and put it back in the bag. She hung up her towel and then turned to leave. At the doorway, she stopped and looked back in. The tub, which had been so peaceful and relaxing a few minutes later, now stood empty but still looking inviting. *Maybe we will make it back in there tonight* she thought, bringing a smile to her face, as she turned out the lights and went to meet Eric. |
