Eric and Greta Fan Fiction
Chapter three

Eric took a deep breath.  "Well, maybe that came out wrong" he started.  "It's not that I wasn't over Nicole when I was with you.  I was-but...well, how can I say this?"
"Just say it Eric" Greta said, getting a little nervous.
"I was over her completely" he said.  "But I needed...closure, I guess you could say".
"Closure from what?" she asked.
"From our past-from Nicole mainly" he said.  "Now I can focus all my attention on our future-with you, Greta"  Greta looked up at him and he gave her a shy smile.  She laughed and he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close.  He buried his head in her hair and ran his hand down her silk-covered back.  Once he let go, she looked up at him.
"But Eric, what about Nicole's..." she started.  Eric put his hand over her mouth to stop her.
"Why does she have to come up in every conversation?" he asked, frustrated.  "I can't seem to get away from her".  With his hand still over her mouth, she pointed at the coffee table.  There, sitting on top, was a copy of Bella with Nicole's face on the cover.  Eric groaned.  Quickly, he leaned over and snatched it up.  He looked at it for a second before he turned back to Greta and tossed it over his shoulder.  Greta laughed.  "Good riddance" he said, pulling her into his arms again.  "We need to get away from all distractions of her and concentrate on us" he said.
"But how?" she asked.  "I mean, she's at your office, at the stores, on magazine covers" Eric thought to himself and an idea hit him.
"I've got it" he said.  "Greta, do you have plans for this weekend?"
"This weekend?  As in, starting tomorrow?" she asked.
"Well, yeah" he said.
"Nothing imporant" she said.
"Good" he said.  "Pack your bags, we're leaving"
"What?" she said, confused.
"We're going to go somewhere to relax and only worry about one thing-having fun" he said.
"But, Eric..." she started.  Eric jumped up from the couch and pulled her up with him.
"Wow, it's late" he said.  "I better let you get back to bed to rest up-we're leaving tomorrow"
"But where are we going?" she asked.  He answered her by pulling her in for a kiss.
"It's a suprise" he said, when he pulled away.  "You'll find out tomorrow".  Greta laughed.
"You're so romantic" she said.
"Just you wait" he said, pulling her in for another kiss.  "Now go to bed and tomorrow, pack your stuff for a weekend.  I'll give you a call sometime in the afternoon to let you know what's going on".  Eric pulled open the door and stood in the open doorway.  "Now you get in before any of your neighbors see you in that sexy outfit".  She giggled as he kissed her again.  Greta pulled away as a cool breeze came in the open door.  She started to step back in her apartment.
"Night Eric" she said.  He followed her and kissed her and she playfully pushed him out again.
"Now shut the door before I attempt to follow you to your bedroom" he said, hanging on the door frame.  She blew him a kiss and shut the door.
"I finally got the woman of my dreams back!" she heard him yell in the hallway.  She heard her neighbors protest at the noise and she giggled as she locked the door.  She leaned against the door and closed her eyes.
"Now we see if he is the man of my dreams" she said to herself, softly.  She walked into her room and climbed into her bed.  She laid back and closed her eyes but found herself thinking.  "I wonder what he has in store for the weekend?" she thought to herself, smiling as she imagined the possibilities.

After Greta packed some things, she went to have tea with Mrs. Horton at her house.  The two woman sat and talked over tea and doughnuts.   Mrs. H was telling her about Shawn and Belle's plan to build Mimi a house when her cell phone rang.
"Excuse me" she said, reaching into her purse.  "Hello?"
"Greta, hey, it's me" she heard Eric say.
"Eric!  Hold on a minute" she said.  She held her hand over the mouthpiece. "It's Eric" she told Mrs. Horton.
"Are you two back together?" she asked, with a smile.  Greta nodded, a grin spreading across her face.  "Then don't keep him waiting!" she said.  Greta stood up and went into the living room.
"Are you still there?" she asked, once she was alone.
"Yes, of course" he said.
"Where are you?" she asked.  "I can barely hear you"
"I'll tell you later" he said.  "But I have all our arrangements ready-can you be ready to go in like 2 hours?"  Greta looked at her watch-it was 12:30.
"Well, yeah, but where are we going?" she asked.
"Surprise, remember?" he said.  "I'll come to pick you up around 2:30.  Oh, and there's one little thing we need to discuss"
"What's that?" she asked.
"Well, I made these reservations kind of late so there weren't many openings at the place I had in mind" he started.
"And?" she asked.
"Well, there's only one room open-the Honeymoon Suite" he said.  "Which means one bed".
"Oh" she said, unsure of what to say.
"I know what you're thinking but I really want to go there" he said.  "And I promise, I'll sleep on the couch or whatever, I'm not going to force you into anything".  Greta smiled as a thought crossed her mind.
"That's fine, get it" she said.
"Are you sure?'" he asked.
"Yes!   I can't wait" she said.
"I can't either" he answered.  "See you in a few hours".  With that, he hung up.
