| Eric and Greta Fan Fiction Chapter Eight |
| Greta looked around with a grin on her face. At the edge of the water was a dock with a small speedboat tied to it. "Eric, are you telling me...?" she started. "Yeah" he said, a boyish grin on his face. "I rented us a boat for the day to take out on th lake". "Eric, this is so sweet" she said, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him tight. "The only problem is that we only have it until 5" he said. "So let's go! We need to get our money's worth". Eric ran over and climbed on the boat and then pulled her on with him. Together they untied the rope and pushed it away from the dock. Once they were far enough out, Eric started up the motor and began to direct it toward the middle of the lake. Greta looked around her. The sun was behind a cloud but she could tell already that it was going to be a warm, sunny day-a perfect day to spend out on a boat. Eric eased the boat into a slower speed once they were in the middle of the lake and started off in one direction. He motioned her over to his seat and pulled her on his lap. "So how do you like this surprise?" he asked over the waves, into her hair. "I love it" she said, giving him a kiss. She turned back toward the water and Eric wrapped his arms around her tightly. "Do you want to drive?" he asked. "I don't know how!" she said. "I'll help you" he said, taking her hands. He placed them on the steering wheel and helped her guide the boat . He pushed the throttle up and Greta let out a small squeal as the front of the boat tipped up. They were now flying across the water, with Greta's hair blowing back around Eric's face. Eric gently guided her into a small, isolated cove and once in, began to slow the boat again. In the middle of the cove he stopped the boat and everything became still again, except the motion from the waves hitting the side of the boat. Greta turned to Eric, her face flushed from the wind and her hair wild. "Eric..." was all she got out, in between her giant grin. She looked so amazing, all wild like that, that he just grabbed her chin and began to kiss her. She didn't fight him as their kiss deepened and she wrapped her arms around his neck. He gently picked her up and turned her so they were now facing, with her legs straddling him. They continued kissing as the waves gently moved the boat up and down with them. Eric pulled away to brush her long hair out of the way as he planted a kiss on the ridge of her neck. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back slightly as he started kissing a trail down her neck. Halfway down, she put her hand out and stopped him. "Eric..." she tried again, this time breathless from his kisses. "Yes?" he said, quietly, looking up at her. "As much as I love being here...and doing this with you....I just don't want to forget where we are and..." she started. Eric laughed. "Yeah, we should actually spend some time on the boat, we don't have much time with it" he said. "Exactly" she said. She stood up off his lap and pulled him to his feet with her. "Did it suddenly get hot?" Eric asked and Greta laughed but it had warmed up already. Eric leaned over the side of the boat and felt the temperature of the water. "What do you say to anchoring and going for a little swim?" he asked her. "Sounds great" Greta said. Eric quickly kicked off his shoes and pulled off his shirt. Greta just stood and watched. "What?" he asked. "Nothing" she said, embarrassed to be caught watching. "Are you coming?" he asked, climbing up on the edge of the boat. "Yeah, I'll be in in a minute" she said, motioning him in. She watched as he dove in with a splash and came up pushing his hair back. He motioned her in and she quickly pulled off her tank top and her pants, revelaling a small blue bikini. He jokingly whistled to her and she blushed as she quickly slipped into the water. She leisurely swarm around, testing the depth of the water until she was hit in the face with a wave of water. She turned to see Eric laughing. "You're asking for it now!" she said, splashing him back. He laughed and splashed her back and soon they were splashing wildlly, not even paying attention to where they were aiming. Greta was soon laughing too hard to do it anymore and clung to the edge of the boat to catch her breath. "You ok?" Eric asked, once he too had stopped laughing. "Yeah, I'm fine" she said, pushing her hair off her face. "Then come here then" he said, with a grin on his face. She turned to swim out to him and was interrupted when another boat came slowly into their area. They both watched as it pulled up and stopped. It was a larger boat filled with a family full of children. The man on the boat saw them and quickly gave a wave to Eric, who waved back. "Looks like we have company" Eric said quietly, sounding disappointed. Greta was about to agree when she saw the boat turn and slowly make its way out again. "Eric, we didn't scare them off, did we?" she asked. "They were probably just giving us some time alone" Eric answered. "Oh. Well, that was nice of them" Greta said. "Yeah it was" Eric answered. "But do you know what would be nicer?" Greta saw the mischevious grin on his face. "And what would that be?" "If you would swim over this way" he said. "I won't bite, I promise". She let go of the edge of the boat and leisurely swam over to Eric. He reached out and caught her hand and held it as she treaded in the water. "Are you enjoying yourself?" he asked her, quietly. "Mm hmm" she murmured, as he pulled her closer. "That's good" he said, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer. He ran his hand over the wet skin of her back and she shivered at his touch. "Only one thing could be a little better" she said, in almost a whisper. "Is there anything I can do to make it better?" he asked, quietly, as he ran his hand down her arm. "I hope so'" she whispered in his ear and then turned to face him. He stared at her expectantly and she gently ran her hand down the side of his face. He closed his eyes to her touch. "Hmm?" he said, barely audible. "This" she said, taking his face in her hands and placing her lips on his. The kiss started out gentle but slowly became more intense as they grew used to the feel of their wet skin on each other. |
