Belle opened her eyes from where her head rested on Shawn's shoulder. There, she saw a couple she didn't know watching them intently. She gave them a quick smile and turned away. But something made her look back and she was startled to see that they were still being watched.
"I think we're being watched" Belle mumbled, into his dress coat.
"Really? Where?" Shawn asked, spinning around to look.
"Shawn! Could you be any more obvious?" she hissed, looking up at him.
"Hey" Shawn said, once he realized who she was referring to.
"We were just wondering if you two were going to give us all a dance show, like you usually do at dances" the guy said, shruggling apologetically. They both blushed.
"We don't have anything prepared" Shawn said, hoping to drop the subject.
"You never did before" the girl said, with a smile.
"I don't think Shawn's up for it" Belle interjected. "Since his accident was just the other day"
"Well, we heard otherwise" the guy said, as the crowd began to separate the two couples.
"Whaaat?" Shawn asked, looking at Belle. "What did he just mean?"
"I have no idea" Belle answered, honestly. A commotion made them both look up towards the stage where Philip was conferring with the dj. Chloe was watching Philip with a mischevious grin on her face.
'What is going on?" Shawn asked, taking her hand as he started to make his way through the crowd. Chloe saw them coming and urged Philip to hurry up. By the the time they reached the stage, Philip was hopping down.
"Phil, what are you up to?" Shawn asked, as the previous song ended.
"Just thought you two could use a little trip down memory lane" Philip said, winking at them.
"Aww, shit..." Shawn mumbled, once he heard the beginning of the song. "I knew I was never going to live this one down" Belle closed her eyes at the extremely familiar song-she had gone out and bought the cd after that night the disk was sure to have a spot worn down from her playing it over and over.

Silently, Shawn led her to the dance floor. She smiled up at him as she again felt complete in his arms. He found himself unable to pull himself from her gaze as they went through the familiar dance routine. Again, he dipped her low and raised her up slowly. But with a little more guts this time, he found himself planting a gentle kiss on her forehead, causing the gym to erupt in wolf-whistles and applause. Belle laughed as he helped her to her feet and the song continued as others danced.
"Just you wait, Kiriakis" Shawn said, as they joined them on the side of the dance floor. "You're time is coming"
"Whatever, Brady" Philip said, flashing his dimples.
"My feet are killing me" Belle said, as she kicked off her glass slippers. The song changed and both guys groaned when they heard Cyndi Lauper's "Girls just wanna have fun" Chloe and Belle both rushed out to the dance floor where Mimi was and danced around together while they sang along.
"Is this really neccessary?" Shawn asked, motioning to the group, as Jason made his way out of the pack of females.
"Well, they look cute doing it" Philip said, and Jason nodded in agreement.
"It's almost ten, the night went fast" Jason said.
"And what a night it was" Shawn said, fingering the crown that still sat on the table.
"Yeah, probably one more dance till we go" Philip added. "Hey Jason, do you want to go out with us afterward?"
"Yeah, sure, thanks man" Jason said, as the three reclined back in their chairs. The song ended-not quickly enough, according to the guys-and they stood up to join their dates for the last dance.
"I hope you all had a good night....once again, congratulations to our king and queen, Shawn and Belle..." the principal said, and Shawn gave a small wave to the crowd.
"Have a safe trip home..." he continued, as the final song began to play. Shawn wrapped his arms around Belle tightly as everyone gathered on the floor for the last song.
"I love this song" Belle commented, as it was KCi and JoJo's "Crazy" She slipped her hands under his tux coat and Shawn straightened up at feeling her hands through his dress shirt.
"You drive me crazy, Isabella" Shawn said, his eyes sparkling.
"Cause I know where you're ticklish, Shawn Douglas" she teased, as she gently squeezed his sides. He laughed and hugged her tighter, capturing her arms so that she couldn't move.
"Come here, you" he said, laughing, as they danced to the music.
