Spring in the backyard is such a wonderful time, plants coming back to life, birds returning and the sound of the waterfalls after the long winter's rest. The changes are evident from one day to the next with the grasses all junping back to life and the lawn has just exploded into a green carpet. This is the view from our bedroom window. We had the good fortune of having the two large evergreens (center) and the red maple in the yard before the pond was installed. The shed on the right was added in 2000, The caneardi junipers behind the shed were planted in 1999. The third large evergreen, a white spruce was planted in 2000 to replace a white pine that died on us.
