"Japanese Tea Cup" Candle Sconce

'Japanese Tea Cup' Candle Sconce

I made this one for fun mainly, I personally never used it so I'm not sure how easy it would be to remove the wax. I used new wave foil for the base, being careful to place it just right, I wanted a wavy look. If you place new wave foil with the round ends facing each other it will look like a row of circles that's fine if that's the look you want, but I wanted a wavy look. The bowl was made from a Styrofoam form (that was actually meant for a candle only I used the round part of it. I should have made better measurements because the sides aren't very even, but it's still presentable. The bowl is attached in the center of the base, but because that wouldn't be stable enough I installed those curved wires. The wires serves several purposes: 1. It attaches the base to the cup. 2. It allowed me to level the cup. 3. It just looks nice, kind of a ornate look.

The glass I used was Armstrong for the base. And spectrum clear iridescent crystal ice, with the texture on the inside.
