Welcome everyone! Here you will find everything baby that I can find, as well as updates on the little one whenever possible. If you would like to know more about me and the family, that will be up soon!

So far, you can see the sonogram pictures that we have from our last visit to the doctors on January 24th. If you would like to see more pictures of me during various stages, of pregnancy (which to date, is up to 4 months, but I'm growing each day!) then click here!

Our Estimated Due Date (EDD) was June 1st, 2000, but after the sonograme, they now think it is May 20th, 2000. We will hopefully find out in February at our next appointment.

January 2000 - The BIG news is ----> IT'S A BOY!!!! Please see the sonogram pictures for all the details! We are also finally registered at Babie's R Us

February 2000 - Baby AJ (Alexander Joseph) has been moving all over his new home and making sure Mommy knows that he's in there! We also got a new doppler (rented) which is awsome!!!! We now can hear AJ whenever we want to, no more worries!!

March 2000 - We have started going to our prenatal appointments every two weeks now! This is very exciting for the Mommy-to-be because now her sanity will be kept in check! Proud Pappa-to-be is getting excited because he can see AJ move around. EDD appears to still be 05/29/2000.

April 2000 - My mood swings are going through hyperdrive now with the anxiety of labor now in focus! We went to our childbirth class and learned all about what might come, and I am more nervous now than ever! Doc now says that baby will be born no later than 41 weeks, which will be the first week of June. We are leaving for vacation in Canada on the 14th, and hopefully, this time won't be detained by customs! My mom is throwing a baby shower on the 15th, and my friend Misty will be throwing one for me in Texas on the 29th! Weeeeeeeeeeee!! ****Update**** The shower in Canada was wonderful!!! I had so much fun seeing my old friends and family. I am now even more homesick!!! Well, to see the pictures from the shower in Canada, go here Unfortunately, no pictures are available from the shower in Texas, as none of us remembered to bring a camera. But it was a fun li'l shower with a couple of friends and the in-laws!

May 2000 - This is the month!! Mommy has been on maternity leave since the last Friday of April because of painful edema, but is doing well. As of 5/8/00 my doctor says that AJ is nearly 7lbs and is going to grow into a big boy! Still no effacement or dialation, but that can change at any time. There is still a bit of swelling going on in my hands and feet and legs, but that's to be expected with approx 25lbs of gained weight (ACK!). I will keep everyone posted on the impending arrival! Mommy finally managed to get a great carseat/stroller for AJ so he can come whenever he is ready to now!

May 16th, 2000 - AJ was born today! He was 21 inches and weighed in at 7lbs 2oz. When we left the hospital he was 6lbs 9oz. Mommy was in labor for over 23 hours and finally had to deliver via c-section! Birth story to come soon! Mommy and AJ were released on the 19th and are both doing well.

May 26th, 2000 - Aj weighed in at 7lbs, 9oz. He's gained a whole pound! He also is 20.5 inches, so looks like he is shrinking! Doctor said he is perfectly healthy. Next appointment is his 2-month well checkup.
