Lisanne made it very clear when she made the graphics for the space where her works would reside that none of the poems, stories, or images were to be used elsewhere. She was consistant in including a copyright notice for everything she created. This copyright and contact notice was prominently displayed on all of the pages here from the day they were first introduced to the site (in 1997). To those who might tell me, "It's what Lisanne would have wanted", I find it very hard to believe not only that you have the audacity to speak for someone who has passed, but that you think it's okay to personally overrule the wishes she spelled out so carefully while she was alive. I do not believe that just because someone has died, that copyright can be ignored.

Neither does the law.

As this abuse continues, I have decided to pull all of the beautiful graphics and inspiring stories that Lisanne wrote and shared. I cannot, in good conscience, allow her work to be stolen while I sit idly by and do nothing. The person who ripped Lisanne off continues to use Lisanne's graphics and works (as well as the layout and code I wrote to display them) without copyright notices and is claiming the work as her own, even after being alerted to the fact that what she is doing is wrong.

Feel free to thank the thief yourself for your loss in viewing Lisanne's incredible written works.

My apologies to Lisanne's fans, and my condolences and prayers to her family on the tragic loss of such a beautiful and inspiring soul.
