Here Comes the Bride...

...all dressed in PURPLE? Hmmmm, not a bad idea, but I have family to consider, and an image as pure as the driven snow (yeah, right!). So, I'll be wearing a formal white wedding gown, but absolutely no spanglies on it. The bridesmaids will be getting their dresses made from scratch, and will be a dark purple in colour, floor-length, short-sleeved, and empire-waisted. The groomsmen will be in tuxedos with purple paisley ties and cummerbund (who would have guessed?).

The wedding plans so far include:
1) Centerpieces of potpourri and candles The hall won't allow "open flames"
2) Main colours: purple and silver (although we might go with a "Harvest" theme)
3) An outside wedding, perhaps on my grandparent's private beach in the Thousand Islands. We are also considering asking someone we know with the HUGEST yard to allow us to have the wedding there. Everything is now booked, who wants to tempt fate with the weather?
4) Honeymoon in Florida or... England and Paris (depending on what we feel like in a few months about it).
