Burn spirits of fear eluding my mind so close to touch, too far behind trembling whispers, a cry in the nite painting with black from demons of light I burn. taking a chance to grab onto my soul pouring in pitchers the dreams that you stole masking the dark in diminishing eyes twisting my words to hear your sweet lies I burn. unfulfilled void, nostalgic and true eternity punished, in Hell I am you my impure heart lays into your hand you cast me to shadows of unholy land I burn. joining the millions of children who fear wicked is laughter in my ears I hear wading in fire as deep as the sea forever in toture and punishment be I burn.©pandora |

Miscarriage of Love What will I do with this cold world the moon’s wounded sadness when the dark angel stains the heart and steals the embryo - Through the night’s solstice storms of anger ferment in the soul and the loneliness is a star without wings to fly and the dreams of the dark are a means to escape from the tap - tap - tap of the memory’s lantern. Love was once so proud it hung its huge face against the latticed glass and asked for nothing but rose petals - snowflakes - honeysuckle and the sight of the unicorn transcending into the light ! But a black horse rose out of the loins and trampled on the flowers of the heart - and broke with a wild speed in such a haste to be gone that it left an ugly blemish that could never be erased - even when the sky turned ! And how will you answer my soul when you held to account for the windowless - rudderless life that you’ve left©Scott John BK Kelsey & Vale Publishing (UK) 1997 |
Falling Golden and Russet falling to the ground Death in silence, makes no sound No scream of fright as fate is accepted just a gentle murmur as more are collected Those soft gentle sounds as life's swept away End in fire or morbid decay Yet from the ashes or mould will burst Life eternal, with nature for nurse.©Derek Warriner |
Two Candles A rainbow of thoughts that span sea and land Soft tendrils of light, joining, two now empty hands. Burning lights, far apart, minding only one quest. Forever united whilst hearts do not rest Once again they will meet, flaming fiercer than ere the sky's brightest star that oft seems so near. Joy, rapture, and tears, sometimes regret has been seen in these lives since first once they met. These flaming candles will in time burn low, their once bright sparks will recede to mere glow. But memories will surface, rekindle these flames leaving two burning lights, flaming fiercely again.©Derek Warriner |
