Lost for You
lit cigarette dwindles
in his fingertips
like yours used to
and for a moment his
hands looked like yours
he had the same accent
as you
and almost as gentle
a smile
but what I'm looking for
I can't seem to find
I fell into his kiss
in moonlight
imagining his lips
were yours
looking for the cure for
this hunger
when all I need is you
but I've been looking for
what isn't there
the same look
the same touch
oh god...the same
caress
my empty glass folds to
the table
suddenly the bartender sounds
like you
used to
what I'm looking for
I can't seem to find
am I still lost
for you?
