• Micheline - She taught me a lot about Paris, France, arts, literature and life in general. When we've met for the very first time I thought she was a hopeless bookworm. And she was in a way, but with incredibly rich personality. Soon it turned out that we had so much in common...
  Hey! No reason for your winking and 'adult-only-smiling', OK? Nothing had happened... Well, a pity.

• D'iad'ia Mot'ia (uncle Motel) has always an interesting story about Odessa, Ukraine - unforgettably beautiful and amazingly easy going, multinational city on the Black Sea.
  D'iad'ia, please give my regards to all those friendly people from Moldavanka and... ammmmm... do you have a spare bottle of that excellent wine from Karolina-Bugaz?

• Mitsuko - my Japanese teacher, from Tokyo, Japan, so deeply in love with her country and its culture that it became infectious... Imagine, she even made me try to compose haiku! Of course the worst one that was ever written.

• Gari (his actual name was Oganes), an Armenian, guided me through St. Petersburg, Russia - accidentally a city, where my father was born. He (my dad, that is) always regretted that never had a chance to live there longer than two months at a time... I wasn't even that lucky spending only a week there. But I'll be back - as says Arnold S. - there some day.
  Here me, Gari? Can you book a table in the "Kavkazskiy" restaurant?

• Sandor, who lived few years in Poland and learned the language so we were able to communicate, will take us to Budapest, Hungary.> Another city that I have to revisit.
  And... my friend, would you mind another historical and gastronomic tour of Buda? Then we'll cross the Danube to the city of Pest...(All those cafe, bars and wine cellars... hope they're still there?)

• Vlasta, my unrequited puppy love has some tales from Prague, Czech Republic
  Zlata Praha (Golden Prague in Czech), is a city where you'll meet hospitable and reasonable, hard working and fun loving people. Lots to see, lots to taste... They have the best beer in the world, just go to 'U Fleku" or 'U Kaliha'. Or anywhere else.

• Steen Hartmann is my cyber-friend and neighbour (From GeoCities' Paris). On his pages you will find some interesting things about Denmark, the history, and some danish specialities.
